The Dolphins fortunes changed once the 2021 trade deadline passed and the Watson trade rumors disappeared. Since that fateful day where they chose to forgo Watson & stick with Tua, they have gone 11-1.

My boy Tua is throwing lasers.... He is playing some high IQ football right now, some of the small things he is doing is just amazing. Payton Manning and Kurt Warner as well as Matt Hasselbeck all did commentary about his games and had nothing but good things to say.

Enjoy the shine while it lasts. One win against a bad team, and 2 fluky wins against objectively much better teams. Miami will end the season somewhere in the 7-10 to 9-8 range.

@@jamessanders145 The Bills ran 90 something plays and mustered up 2 scores. The Fins along with every other NFL team are also dealing with injuries and weather. At the end of the day the Dolphins were the better team that day, quit crying and making excuses

@@kimberlygranger5205 Me too, it should be good game. Buffalo is the more talented team, but this Miami team is tenacious. In Baltimore, they showed the potential to score quick when needed and against Buffalo, they showed the ability to actually beat Buffalo (again, the first win against the Bills since 2018) & to be mentally tough enough to win close games. In previous seasons, the injury to Tua, the multiple dropped INTs by Miami defenders, and the butt punt would have sank the Fins. Hopefully both teams will be closer to full strength when they meet again (both teams were missing key players - Miami had WAY less injuries, but the ones they did have were to key players like starting CB Byron Jones, starting RT Austin Jackson, & backup RT Greg Little). Luckily the backups like 2022 UDFA Kader Kohou, 2021 UDFA Robert Jones, & 2019 UDFA Nik Needham have filled in admirably. Regardless of who wins, it should be a good one.

@@jamessanders145 Yups. But a win is a win & a loss is a loss. The Dolphins have had tons of injuries in previous seasons (mostly at the offensive skill positions in 2020 & 2021) so I can sort of relate. You guys will adapt just as we had to when Tua, Fuller, and Parker were all injured early in 2021. I doubt that it will result in a 7 game losing streak like we went through last season.

The Dolphins being 3-0 has a definite 80's throwback vibe to it. I doubt it will sustain as the weather gets colder, and they have to travel more, but they at least look like a playoff bound team in the AFC which is now looking like the weaker conference in the NFL.

@@RsChrisG let’s clear some stuff up here. First of all our top receiver was out for week 2 and our O-Line was decimated in week 2. Second thing, I’m saying our whole team is injured now, after week 3’s game. Our two top WRs are out, our O-line is gone, our QB is injured, a bunch of D-line injuries, sprinkle in some tight end injuries and that’s our season.

I think you could argue both teams' fortunes changed in that Jags/Chargers game. Chargers look like they've got too many injuries to deal with this year (+ their curse) and the Jags really do look like they're finally coming together in a weak division.

I really like the show, but I gotta be honest. I am a Colts fan, but the Jags are for real. The Jags and Colts should be swaped. That is what happens when you bring in a Super Bowl winning coach.The Jags have a nice test w/Eagles this week. I want to play them again w/out the injuries and the Colts will in a few weeks. The Titans and Colts play in a huge game this week. Oh and the AFC South went 3-0 against the AFC West. So maybe not the worst division in football.

The Chiefs 2-point conversion was also egregious. The Colts unsportsmanlike by Speed was egregious. What's your point? Mistakes were made by both teams, refs made bad calls that hurt both teams, that's just making excuses. The Colts did enough to win. Also considering how the Jaguars are doing it also makes that week 2 shutout look a little less bad. Still not good, but not as pathetic as first thought. Overall the Colts have a lot to still prove, but they don't look like a dumpster fire going into week 4. So yes their fortunes changed and enough to be in this top 5 list.

You clearly didn't watch the game. 🤣 The Chiefs were given 2 points even though Kelsie was down before he crossed the plane. The Chiefs were given a BS, drive extending, facemask call. The defender and Mahomes both had each other's facemask but they didn't call off setting penalties. They gave it to Mahomes. Both teams looked better at points in the game. One made the play at the end of the game. One didn't.

lawrence is good but not generationally tallented allen, mahomes, lamar, herbert, Watson, Kyler are generationally talented Lawrence isnt amazingly mobile, has a great but not insane arm or arm talent, and isnt amazing in any way lawrence is a solid QB with great accuracy and is smart as hell. Hell be a top 10 QB and is always going to be a great QB. But hes a 6-5 Joe burrow with a stronger arm. but there are alot more talented QBs this generation
