As a chargers fan , we know the statement this would make, but we have to think long term . BOTH tackles will likely be out which is the scariest part here. I love Herbert , and how much he always wants to play, but please save him from himself Jim Harbaugh

Rich, for you to not mention that the Bolts won't have their two starting tackles, one a Pro Bowler and one a possible OROY candidate, is a rather large oversight. That's why there is such a huge risk of Justin playing.

Family has been die hard fans for 40 years....for the love of all. Please rest. id rather loose this game and come back the rest of the season. this si the first time ive truly had hope. Rest, reset. We face them again later. making us have a chance for 1-1 with them, we just need to better than them if we want division, however, lets get to playoffs and see what Harbaugh has. Id rather confirm we will be there.

We also have one healthy starting CB. And James suspended. And our toughest DT injured, probably plays but if he does, won’t finish the game. Injured OT3. Etc. It’ll be ugly. 🫤

In 2020 (Herbert’s first game) Chiefs won in OT. Herbert then beat them 2 times in KC (1 time KC rested starters). Chiefs win the next 2021 game in OT. In 2022 Chiefs sweep them by 3 points in both games (1 game is the Herbert broken rib game). Then 2023 Chiefs handed them a significant L and another time in a game that didn’t matter at all at the end of the year. I’d say they play them close and chiefs beat them like how they always beat teams, in OT or on a last possession. All I’m getting it is they are atleast competitive in their match ups. It’s never a blowout like Rich is making it seem. The team was at a severe disadvantage with Staley the past several match ups. I’d say with Herbert this game will be closer than people think but Chiefs win by a possession as always.

Kelce rarely kills the Chargers. To my knowledge he has never had a 100-yard game against them. They are the one AFC West team that actually knows how to defend him and a lot of that is Derwin James being one of the only safeties in the NFL that can guard him one-on-one

With injuries to pretty much every key player for the Chargers I don’t know that it really makes sense to view this game as a real indicator of how the Jim Harbaugh era is LA is going… as for Justin Herbert I don’t think he has it in him to sit. For better or worse he will completely put his body on the line for his team. Wish he would sit this one out though.

It’s beyond disappointing not to mention who and how Kelce specifically started to own us in the last three years. Brandon Staley is a joke of a defensive coordinator and Kelce owns him and his horrible “defense”. I give credit to the Spanos for correcting the mistake of a hire, albeit a little late but the time ended up being perfect. Wait and see what are defense does this weekend, even without our captain in Derwin James, I don’t see Kelce having a get right game. We have competence in the building now. Bolt up ⚡️⚡️⚡️
