That was pretty good for a 47-year-old guy in a full on suit with little to no training whatsoever before the run. Say what you want, but Rich did well. Also, he did it to support a charity. Shout out to Rich!

Years ago, I punted in college and had a try out with the Vikings. I ran the 40 in 6.1 and the coach told me to turn in my uniform and sit up in the stands with the band. I was 22 years old so Rich at his age did a good job.

Rich did well. They are comparing his times to those of world-class athletes. My nine-year old boy and I timed our forty-yard dashes a couple months ago. I am fifty years old and I ran approximately an 8.0. My son (with his shorter legs) ran about an 8.5.
