I still feel like he gives us the best chance this year. Lock is intriguing but I don't think he will be the starter. Unless dj has to be held back for his rehab.

DJ has chance to change narrative!!

Hes the Giants QB, of course we root for him. We dont HAVE to like him or think he IS the guy, but of course we will root for him. Some of us who have criticized him would LOVE for him to make us look stupid. I hope he has like 30+ tds, 4500+ passing yds, 600+ rushing yds and looks like a beast and at least wins come back player of the year. Hes a really great guy, he works really hard, so I dont get why hes not as good as he should be. I am rooting for him though, hes our QB this year. I have been rooting for him for what? 5 years? I was huge on him last offseason, I was talking by the end of the year hed be a top 3 or 4 QB in the NFC. I dont get it...he has a lot of the tools physically, has 5 yrs of experience, works sooooo hard...i dont understand unless its all just mental. I hope it works out...i hope he turns into a stud....then again....ive been waiting for that for 5 yrs.....every year...the same thing. I understand his offense has kinda sucked and the OLine.....but i also still havent really seen anything that excites me. So, i hope instead of us HAVING to draft a new QB or sign someone elses, id love for him to show up and show out and speed up the rebuild. Im rooting for him EVERY year....because i root for the Giants...EVERY year...if Lock comes in...im rooting for lock. Im just going to root for whoever is in there.

@@mrwaglenn I hear what your saying but most of the “criticism” I hear from fans is straight up trashing the guy, it’s not taking account for what has happened like last year with the Oline being second worst in nfl history. People should have been excited we got Nabers but instead people clowned the pick because “DJ will be throwing him the ball” I get it’s not everyone but as a fan base I see more people complaining and making those type of comments then actually critiquing his film And that just makes me like the guy even more because he doesn’t complain, doesn’t talk bad about the fans, atleast not to the press, and he always takes accountability even when the Oline is getting him destroyed. How can you not like a QB like that…in my opinion he just doesn’t have the team to help lift him up to an elite level like All of the top QBs have, yea an elite QB makes his roster look better but they won’t be scoring 30+ TDs and over 4,000 yards with the amount of talent and situations the Giants have had around DJ since a rookie if were being completely honest. I also thinks it’s a mental thing with DJ, you can tell when his confidence is shot he plays scared and he looks rattled. And unfortunately he isn’t mentally strong enough to face really good teams and play above them with minimal talent, I don’t understand why People just expect him to just be this QB that does that even though majority of the leagues QBs don’t and can’t do that, but I just think If we built this Oline to be average and he can have time to settle in his confidence will get back to where it should be and he will go off… but that’s a big IF

in 2022 saquon was 4th in rushing yards and had the 3rd worst o-line in the league. the eagles o-line is so efficient they have an over 95% success rate on TDs from the 1-yard line. you need to look way deeper than just yards from scrimmage.

Yea he was right 😂 they WERE trying to replace him, its been confirmed they tried trading up for Drake Maye, and if it was completely up to them they would’ve got him, but the Pats price was too steep. That’s out of the Giants control. But they 100% were trying to replace him and they’ll continue to do so next offseason.
