The larger a Titan the more heat it gives off so because the colossal is huge it's heat literally burns off it's skin or just prevents it to form. Titans are weird and I love it

The season 1 is like the presentation and preparation of the world and all the things but telling us nothing. With the first season the rest of the series wouldn't been that amazing.
@@tristan3387 yeah people really need to stop viewing the seasons as seperate things, they are all just Acts of the same bigger story. Dong a rewatch of th whole thing and noticing the shitton of foreshadowing and hints is actually one of the most enlightening and fun experiences, i can recommend^^
That is an exceedingly common technique. Christ, you AoT fanboys are obnoxious and give the author way more fucking credit than he deserves. And he is the first person that will tell you that, and already has. The same author that publicly apologized for how fucking terrible the entire ending arcs are.

Honestly.. I cried the first episode of AoT.. that's how I knew I had to keep watching and then read the manga when I finished the anime (insert scouts salute emoji that doesn't exist yet here)😩
Hiroyuki Sawano deserves more recognition for these soundtracks. Without his music Attack On Titan will not be what it is today. I am so happy that they chose to stick with him for all the seasons and I can't wait for season 4 to come!

This show is better to watch back to back, or at least not weekly, because this show is heavy on mysteries and they seed a lot of information from the very beginning, its part of what makes the show amazing, not just because of the action, but also because of the worldbuilding and mysteries, though you do seem to be very quick on picking information up, its probably fine, just a suggestion

Don't worry about the "Insane Dad" scene and the basement. It'll all make sense... once you get to season 3. Nope, not joking. This series plays the long game. As for the "counterattack" that failed, it's not "even the old people", it's "especially the old people". The leaders know all to well that this "counterattack" didn't stand any chance at all. The majority of the food-production was in the outmost wall and with that lost, there just wasn't enough food to feed everyone, so they sent almost a quarter of a million people to their death so that the rest could survive instead of everyone starving to death. And since it was a culling, it was a logical decision to keep the strong, young and able-bodied people back and sent mostly the less valuable people who could contribute less to mankinds continued survival to their deathes. But of course if they kept all the young and strong people back, it would have been obvious and they would have had a mass riot on their hands... not to mention the occasional numbskull who believed the cover-story and volunteered, which is why you don't see only old people going out to "counterattack". And a nice thing about this series is that it doesn't hold your hand and tell you these things outright, but gives you all the pieces to put together for yourself (sometimes even "hidden" in the mid-series insert cards without a verbal mention anywhere else)... most of the times anyway. Cold, heartless, but logial... and probably even necessary. Just like the ending says, this world is a cruel place (explanation: The song is called and has the refrain "kono utsukushi zankoku wa sekai" utsukushi = beautiful, zankoku = cruel, sekai = world. So literally it would translate as something along the lines of "this beauty and cruelty IS the world" (caps of is are intentional) if I have my Japanese lessons about the grammer correctly in my head... as odd as it might sound in English. Or I guess you could interprete it as "This world is both beautiful and cruel.").
Eren is an extremely angry boy. Most people don't like it because they think it's too over the top. Meanwhile, I'm like, "he's a teenager throughout most if not all of this show. Did you expect something different?" Seriously. People grieve differently. Eren just happens to grieve through anger and hate toward the things that ruined thousands of lives. Anger and hate last a long ass time in teenagers. Basically, getting pissed and hateful towards titans is Eren's grief filled rebellious phase.
AJ, please refrain from cutting too much when editing. It TOO choppy. Can you allow the scenes to play out more? I know about the time restraints as well. But, I do appreciate the effort, though.

Just earned a new subscriber.. the show is topnotch! I don't want to spoil it for you but the pacing gets abit slower for the next 2 or 3 episodes but stick with it and you'll be plunged it obsession!
I haven't realized this until now but Aot has goblin Slayer plot cause both mc lost precious family,is obsessed with killing said killer,both are badass,and both have been training for five years to kill said killer(s)
I also absolutely love how snk displayes the cruelty of this world without letting anything look a little bit positive. I mean if this world would be real, everyone would act like Eren, Armin, Mikasa and the rest
"This show feels like one huge mystery to me." My friend... You don't know the half. Let me tell ya. Waiting 5 years for season 2? That shit makes me have a whole new kind of respect for detectives and how they often can't solve a case until 8 or so years or more later.
I think the biggest reason why people tend to dislike eren is because they forget he’s only a kid. the producers and writers perfectly show what an actual child would be feeling during this time. he just lost his mom, he’s confused and has no answers to what’s happening and what’s going to happen. when he does stupid things or makes the wrong choice it shows how he’s still learning and how he’s still a kid who doesn’t always know the best answer or the best way for doing something
