He said he has seizures in the shower. I wonder if he has cerebral hypoperfusion? I have dysautonomia and pots and the hot water in the showers always makes me convulse. Taking salt tablets, pickle juice or soy sauce before the shower and making it cool/warm had helped.

Awh I feel so sorry for you Richard with losing your memory to that extent, also your social life etc. But with regards to seizures/epilepsy " I can totally relate to them" because I USED TO have severe epilepsy myself, so I can totally empathize with you there and when I DID have them they were 'nonstop' every time I picked something up this WAS the result and I was rushed into hospital numerous times. I was in there for a fortnight most of the time and on one occasion it was six weeks to change my medication over. Since then over a period of years II was having less and less of them and there came a day when they just stopped like that when I wasn't thinking about it. However I really do hope and pray that you also get the right medication/treatment in the near future to 'reduce or prevent' any more seizures because they are horrible. Hopefully one day in many years to come your seizures will stop like mine did. Patience is a virtue and although I understand hoev extremely difficult it is for you to think about the future or anything for that matter, I suggest try to imagine or dream about nice things that you 'still like doing' even though you find them difficult whatever lifts your mood if nothing else whether it's listening to music or the birds singing or going out if possible with help. I wish you the best of luck for the future because there is always hope. Paula
