His speed and technique are awe inspiring. Also the actual LOVE in his face as he plays is the real kicker for me. I'm basically a drummer who happens to play a few other instruments. When I play drums, I have that face so I know he's living his best life. May GOD continue to Bless ALL who read this.

Awesome take on a killer tune! The interplay between the trumpet and bass a nice touch. Personally, I started my musical journey on trumpet in the fourth grade. Over the years, I added guitar and eventually a couple electric basses (one J, one P). Those are my buddies now - hurts my stomach to play the trumpet anymore. It's important to maintain that outlet of playing an instrument, even if it's just for yourself.
This is just more proof that this song is super hard to play, especially at these speeds. Jaco and them played super fast live, about similar speed to this. Super cool to see.

Bona! Bona! What a gracious benevolent man! I wish to travel to his place of birth and drink it in. Regardless, he brings all that anyway. What a place it must be.
The fact is, for me obviously: You heard 300 notes at maximum speed... Ok, he is incredibly good, great technic, but nothing about that kind of "music" makes me start dancing, moving my body, if you know what I mean... And this not for bona, but a lot of people, like malaman... Than he started play jaco's stuff, and 3 seconds are enough to get incredibly pleased. Jaco was the best, not only for bass, but for music. And I think some modern bassist need to concentrate to remove some notes instead of putting them on the script.
Clueless If ur a jazz fan …no intro needed I know Richard …he idolized Jaco and he toured w Zawinal. BONA has his own rhythmic sense and his records are beautiful…always bout the music first On his records he doesn’t even always show his virtuosity…like Collier…it’s about the music….here he s entertains and playing some fun great music
