Great actor and very missed. Nice to see this, I remember 2004, was 11 and left primary school. The Good life not on as much now remember when used to be on all the time.
Hes got such a refreshing honesty, how he explains how tv is made and contracts etc. Also love the fact that he doesnt like going abroad and prefers to stay in Chiswick ! haha ! Most actors put on such a glossy appearance in tv interviews and everythings always hunky dory in their lives. Dont give anything away. And Richard just comes on and says "NO ! I dont get the roles anymore !" And we respect him all the more, for being like that ! Just real !
Ever decreasing circles should have had far more recognition than it got , but I feel that it came along at a time when a well spoken southern accent , had to compete with the seemingly preferred "up north " dialect , that, for whatever bizarre reason ,still seems to be in vogue to this day.
