Video and Footage by ABC Network Emmy Nominee, Richard Cabral, talks about his journey on American Crime. With interviews from John Ridley and Michael McDonald.
he has been a gangster rapper for years, and now that he's an actor he's doing the same thing but in a different way, expressing himself. Keep going Richard, I wish your success continues man.
People don’t realize there’s a lot of good people in the barrio they just don’t get that chance cuz people r always judging scared that just cuz we’re bald and have tattoos don’t mean we’re evil people props to this homie
This was one hell of a season. Fell in love with his character before finding out about his past. And I think someone should stop cutting onions right now
He is such a phenomenal actor!! Please give Richard more dramatic rolls like this!!! He makes you believe his character every time and he actually makes you feel like you're on the character's journey with them. ❤🤗
I just watched season one of American Crime on Netflix and that cast was great! The amazing cast of heavy hitters did their thing, But the character of Hector Tontz was the one that stood out to me and relative new comer Richard Cabral gave a stunning performance. I literally was annoyed by Hector, hated him, pitied him and then just wanted him to be happy through out watching the season and all of those emotions were felt to such extremes and that is due to this man's performance. I wish Richard nothing but success in his future endeavors he is an inspiration!
Richard you are an amazing person and are such an amazing actor my husband and I have so much love and respect for your journey. We're so glad to see them giving you parks that allow you to expand your emotional Horizons. God bless you!
This dude is a good actor....I liked him as Coco on Mayans....I watched some interviews with him... he's a recovering addict like myself with a passion for the arts. I hope he gets some more leading roles.
In the last scene when Richard is asking,so emotionally, for a chance; he bleeds emotion.... you can feel it!! And he's communicating between the words, on the downside... you see his face, his eyes, his soul pleading! I thought about Al Pacino when I was watching that scene! Great Potential! I look forward to seeing more from the talented actor... true rags to riches!
I saw your primo do a one person show for Homeboy Industries a couple of years ago. Please tell him the wife and I still talk about his show till this day. We have him and his in our prayers. GOD bless
Ive seen several of his movies I would like to work with hector I feel I have potential to be an actor also and can relate to certain scenes of the movie
I have more heart with Coco.(Mayan MC) He reminds me of me. How I always had a fight w/ my mom since highschool. Now she's 72. I can't leave her alone.
not that he focused and made it,the point is that this kid is the real deal and his sharing with us just a little peace of it,,,for change I'm glad that between this youngsters there is some real stories
x213ERx why are you answering my question with another question? Why are you an idiot? What the fuck is 213? Are you a wanna be chola? Why are you responding if your not answering my original curious question?
You sound lost. He seized an opportunity that was given to him, and he is killin it!!!! Do you realize how hard it is to change one's self?!?!? I hope you someday see him as an example because he is far from soft.
RICHARD IS AS REAL AS IT THEY COME.. HIS ACTING TALENT IS REAL ,GENUINE... RICHARD COMO DECIA MI MADRE..."LA ARTISTA SE NACE NO SE HACE" BLESSINGS TO U RICARDO ❤

His performance really got me😭 a real actor right there. Doesn't surprise me to hear he had the same past as Hector. Those are the best type of actors.
the way he changed his life around is inspiring.. he did excellent in American Crime and knowing his story before I watched it. it seemed all so real I had to tweet him and let him know
