The melody of this song has infiltrated my brain! I love it, and the arrangement and the guitar paying. When I first heard it, it sounded kind of shambling but I liked it because it was interesting. Listening to it more and more I realised how fab it was :-D And the lyrics - so candid, truthful, and actually romantic! I've recommended you, Richard Dawson to the folks who run the festival here in the village of Cropredy, Oxfordshire. That would be so fab if you did it!

Well done, but I don't believe Fairport Convention Ltd actually take notice of fan recommendations, unlike some who believe they have 'Peggy's ear'. Best hope would be field 8 or The Brasenose. I like and applaud your thinking though.

The delivery of this song is incredible, the lyrics and the rhythm of them blend into each other beautifully. This is bonafide genius stuff. A song about love, mystical happenings and birth. The final lyrics about the baby not being his but he kens the mystery of love is amazing stuff. Local north east lad as well which makes me carp about him twice as much. Top stuff.
