Richard is such a great guy as I have friends who were lucky enough to have met him (repeatedly , lucky bastads lol) at various events and all say he is wonderful! He a wonderful role model for us all!!! We love you Richard!!!

Cool. Can't believe no one has posted a comment here. This is really great of Richard to help support such a wonderful event. Wish I could attend, but due to financial reasons, it's just not possible. But nice to see videos like this to keep us up to date on Richard's generous offers to help other people who are in chronic pain, including himself. Poor man. Thanks Audrey for posting this. :-)

Richard Dean Anderson is THE BEST - the most handsome actor, the best actor, the nicest man. He says he has his own problems - his back problems this year have been terrible so he fits right in with this cause. But he is there supporting others who are in terrible pain. Rick has been helped by this doctor and I hope he is over his back problems from this year. He talks about the dogs that are there at this event.....which he loves because he is a "dog guy". Great interview!

I was reading about this online and i feel for the poor folks who have this condition. I live with pain, but not like this. I wish i had the means to donate for this cause.all i can offer is my thoughts .

As someone diagnosed with CRPS/RSD from a badly sprained/hyperlaxed ankle in 2013, I have never gotten over CRPS/RSD. Sadly neurologists and orthopedic specialists will not admit that CRPS/RSD is a permanent condition. Once you get it you don't get over it. I nearly got paralysis in my foot and next would have been full blown paralysis had it not been caught and recognized and diagnosed in time.....and then atrophy and amputation would have followed. Thank God my orthopedic specialist diagnosed it in time but I think he feels that admitting I still have it is a failure on his part so he will not admit to it but I am exactly how I was in 2013 today in 2022. Once I got CRPS/RSD, I could not shake it. It wasn't a failure on his part. It is like any other illness, once it happens to you, you don't get rid of it. You live with it. It is depressing to not have doctors recognize this permanent condition. 💔 Because they refuse to admit it is permanent damage, I cannot get a handicap designation so I cannot get a handicap license plate so I can park in handicap parking. So, I end up having to walk long, long distances carrying my purse and laptop and lunch to the building at work on the Air Force Base. This causes foot drop, foot drag, circulatory problems, and stinging and burning and tripping and aching and swelling and after all that walking and stress on my ankle, I cannot rest properly at night because it stirs up restless leg syndrome also caused from the ankle injury. Because I cannot get a doctor to admit it is permanent damage,.......the injury happened on the Air Force Base while I was working in my office building,.....I cannot get workman's compensation and I cannot apply for medical retirement. I have had to work 9 years like this and have to work another 15 years like this as I continue to age, until I reach 62 years of age. Otherwise I could apply for medical retirement and or workman's comp. It is a bad situation having zero medical community support.

HOW do they treat the pain? I've had cronic back problems for years now giving me extreme headaches like a needle piercing into my left side of brain! I tried lifting 8 man got tub by myself completely stupid on my part but was told I have bulging disc pinching nerves in my back but doctors immediately put me on pain meds that I found out later were no good and ditched them having extreme agony. now taking ibuprofen that does nothing!
