I got a blood transfusion in the early 80s bcuz of a serious injury and i told the medical staff no! I didn't want it, until the doc told me it was a life-or-death situation., I was very lucky, or should I say blessed for HIV and Hep passed me by thru thu wonderful grace of God and His mercy, but I lost a lot of friends and family members from Aids, rip to all the fallen from illness 😭

Hospitals weren't testing blood for for HIV prior to transfusions until the late 80's & they couldn't be sued regardless because they did NOT know. Furthermore, he would have to prove without doubt that's how he became infected. Who's to say that he didn't know, but chose not to disclose his status.
