i love my rsv and think its shape lends itself well to the riding position yeah sure the back end likes to step out a bit in the wet but i run pirelli sc2's on it and its still pretty good so good infact im thinking of getting another one
The rsv has stood the test of time... the r6 whilst popular can develop serious engine problems such as cracks in the bores and the gearbox can be a bit fagile. My r6 had both these problems. My mille however has 4 times the mileage with no money needed to keep it going except normal maintenance. They are bomb proof.
R6 , 2002 on 46000 miles and still no problems. First generation have some prob with 2nd gear , but easy to fix for som 15-20€ . You can learn how fom some youtube video . Sorry , but Yamaha is made for track , easy can eat you on trackday 😉😉
