This is just about the most 90s car review I’ve ever seen

Back in the day, when Ferrari's came with 17-inch rims. Remember this car when I just became a teenager. I thought it was the most beautiful of all the Ferrari's of this era.
@gedaman

This is one of the least talked about Ferrari models. I really like the design. It was ahead of its time. It still looks good even though it was designed in 1992. The background music went well with this review.

Yeah, it’s so simple and beautiful, Ferraris nowadays have somewhat lost that essence.

In my opinion the 1995 Ferrari 456 GT is THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CAR FERRARI HAS EVER BUILT.
@dvamateur
@dvamateur 8 лет назад
+tmat04 I think that 308GTB, 288GTO, Testarossa, 348GTB, 355GTB, and 550 Maranello are better.
@tmat04
@tmat04 8 лет назад
Andrew Piatek I'm not arguing against any of these other Ferrari Supercars you mentioned being BETTER than the 456 GT. But (and that's just my opinion) the 1995 Ferrari 456 GT looks better than them all. And, to this day, it is still the best looking car that Ferrari has ever built.
@tmat04
@tmat04 8 лет назад
Andrew Piatek The one Featured in this video is not the one I am talking about. That is the 456M GT. And I don't feel exactly the same about its looks.
@dvamateur
@dvamateur 8 лет назад
tmat04 456 is okay, but I'd prefer 360 Modena to it. Sorry, I missed 512TR from my list.
@tmat04
@tmat04 8 лет назад
Andrew Piatek I liked the looks of the 360 Modena also. To, me, it is one of the best designs Ferrari has ever produced. And I was surprised when many people stated that they preferred the looks of the 355. I found the 360 Modena to be better looking than the 355. And Tiff Needell of Fifth Gear felt the same way. But, still, no other Ferrari can beat the 1995 456 GT on looks. Every part of that car's design blends well with other, from front to rear. For example, if you look at the vents on the hood, that blends with the scoops that run on both sides of the car. Some of my friends have said that the 456 GT looks too simple for a Ferrari (they've never seen the car in person). But SIMPLICITY is BEAUTY, in this case! If I won the lottery, I wouldn't mind paying Ferrari 1million dollars to build me a NEW 1995 456 GT with similar engine and interior as the F12.

I am an ex-456 owner. First thing first, the car is a bad grand tourer since it isn't good at "getting families across continents fast" as Clarkson once said about it. 1. It breaks all the time! Terrible buttons, windows don't roll up, cylinders misfiring, I had water dripping on my left foot from the aircon pipes, panels fitting badly, exhaust fumes inside, and just a lot of electrical problems. It is amazing how many electronic things can break down in a car with so little (compared to modern vehicles) technology and features. It is just a poorly assembled and unrefined car. 2. If something breaks, it is hard to get it fixed properly and fast. It is hard to find people to work on it, it takes forever to order parts. So you literally can't do any serious travelling in it, unless your "continent" is Britain and you need to go from London to Cardiff once every 2 months. I was absolutely ready to pay high maintenance costs, but I am not ready to have a car that is so unreliable. 3. Wind noise. You can't call a car a grand tourer if the noise at higher speeds is so uncomfortable. 4. Gas mileage. You need to stop every 2.5-3 hours to refuel! Doing a trip from Croatia to Sweden would be actually faster in a 2L Skoda or Suzuki than in Ferrari 456 because of this. It gives you range anxiety, just like electric cars! I canceled the plan to go from Europe to Iran in it and got rid of the car. It actually was my wife who first told she doesn't want to travel in it anymore.
@Treviscoe

Thanks for your input and I daresay you're right. The trouble is though, cars like this one are like a date with Anna Kournikova - logic doesn't really come into it.

@myroslav6873
@myroslav6873 3 года назад
@@MrPrajitura it was the M. Yes, I bought it second hand, from a rather young person (same age as I was at the time), who told that it was gifted to him. But it looked good and had papers and everything, mechanics I consulted with said it was a good car.
@MrPrajitura
@MrPrajitura 3 года назад
@@myroslav6873 I see. I gotta admit, when I saw your comment, my sfincter tightened a bit. I kinda set a long term plan that would eventually amount to acquiring a 456. I have a daughter so in that sense I would like a "practical" Ferrari (meaning it has a backseat that can seat a child), and I just love the styling of the 456, it's like the 550's bigger, more unpopular brother.

I own one. I love it. I completely understand what Richard means when he says he knows it is worth the price but can't explain why. If you want people to know that you are driving a Ferrari, this is not the car for you. If you want people who know that you are driving a 456, this may be the car for you. If you don't give a damn what others think and just want to drive an incredibly rewarding Ferrari, this is definitely the car for you.

my favourite types of super cars are the 2+2s my favourite car is the ferrari 250 swb as it was racing car... it really wasn't a full on roadie. But if i had to buy a ferrari strictly for the road it would either be a 250 get or a 330 gt. That being said after the creation of the mid engined super car all those that were buying gt ferraris suddenly stopped buying those cars in favour of the kiddie. The jensen interceptor laid out what was to become of the gt in the 60's automatic sports luxury mixed thingy and all gt's have been following that lay out since i don't mind it because a gt isn't a sports car but i would prefer one with a manual mode
