O vídeo clipe tem um enigma que ninguém consegue resolver. O pai dele era militar, o pai dele é outra pessoa ! O Xerife não era o pai dele, porém gostava de Mary, tanto que a matou e colocou a culpa no garoto por causa do histórico dele quando criança, o pai dele já tava com outra mulher e ele colocou fogo na casa porque ficou perturbado, mas foi curado, aí o Xerife aproveitou a história para por a culpa nele, mas ele amava Mary, mas ela o considerava apenas amigo, mas ele ficou chateado quando viu ela com outro cara. Existe uma versão que ela tenha se matado depois disso !

there's no such thing as the best version of this song that Richard ever did. they all are great no matter how you've heard them or what language you've heard them in. the unplugged version is just for a much more chilled version and tonight is what i'm doing, "just chilling" so is just perfect for me and the mood i want to listen by....
Richard Marx was such a BABE! And that voice is beyond incredible - I have always loved his lyrics and heartfelt performances, which meant a great deal to me as a kid growing up in the 90s. Complete and utter LEGEND :)
