Richard Marx is one of my all time favorite singers. I am so glad to have grown up when he first came out and had the chance to go to one of his concerts. As I stated in another post, I grew my hair long to my shoulders right before my senior in high school. My hair was naturally curly, like Marx when he first started his career.

I was 9 years old and shopping with my mom at Kids 'R Us (back when they used to have rows of TVs in each section tuned to MTV) and I remember how this video completely caught my attention and I was standing there watching and singing along to it. I love this song and one of my favorites. This is a great break up song. I was going through a break up when I saw this song on VH1 and, really didn't know who Richard Marx was at the time. What a great man and an amazing singer, songwriter and musician. He's way underrated in my opinion. The best since Elvis Presley. He predicted the Cubs would win the World Series and, they did.
