Richard Petty at Pettyfest 

My Dad was a true blue Petty fan and made me a BIG 43 PETTY FAN .I lost my parents in 2021 but I continue the tradition with my family I have met the King and Kyle several times they are really great people thanks 4 the memories. 43 4EVER.

Wow, the Gentleman who said he's a true Richard Petty Fan, Listen up Bud, I have the sunglasses he wore from the '70s, actually 1971-83, I have ten pairs, 4 of the ten are brand spanking new from 1971-79!!! If anyone who's a Richard Petty Fan, this is a must have item!!! They're made by Cool Ray Polaroid, the style is called Roadmaster 300's!!! That company is no longer around!!! You can still find them, check flea markets, or whatever!!! Long live the KING, RICHARD PETTY!!! 43

I grew up in Washington D.C. in the 60's and 70's, and fell in love with Petty Blue. I remember building plastic models of his race cars and mixing model paint together until I got just the right shade of Blue. I got to shake his hand and get his autograph(which I still have) when he came up to a Pontiac dealership in Silver Spring Maryland with one of his show cars about a year before he retired.
