“Do you know how you felt when you would lean all the way back in a chair, and just before you were about to tip over, at the very last second, you'd catch yourself ? That's how I feel all the time.” ― Richard Pryor
Loved watching Richard Pryor growing up. One of the funniest comedians ever & his on screen chemistry with the late Gene Wilder was brilliant. RIP Richard Pryor!!
One of the best comedy albums ever is 'Craps' (After Hours). One of the best movies ever is Which Way Is Up. Its amazing that Richard Pryor endured all that trauma has a child yet brought joy to so many. I read Becoming Richard Pryor and it was trip to learn about the atrocities he experienced.
I think it lacks a description of how rough his childhood was. His imaginary friend, his personal account of events. It's all on video, you don't have to narrate his life.
Not the best list. But I respect it. Carlin belongs bc of his early career, but around the middle and end of his career he was annoying af. If Dave Attell isn’t on the list, then it’s mehhh imo.🤷♂️
Okay so it came out that Barbara Walters and Richard slept together and the way she’s leaning in so much to him as she talks is evident that she really wanted Dick Pryor 😱🤭 Respectfully 💜💜💜 I love them!
Unpopular opinion, but I never understood how anyone could think he is one of the greatest... By all means he wasn't the worst but I still don't get his following.
