I don't think anyone is denying that we all have the capacity to do evil. I think what Maury, albeit in a poor manner, was trying to state was that most people don't cause mayhem and bloodsheed because we have some sense of morality. Also, most serial killers are not that smart. Alot of serial killers have below average intelligence. The only reason why the vast majority have high body counts is because they come from a time period where the public and law alike were not informed about the psychology of criminality and how to taxonomize it based on certain factors.
No richard was not dumb he knew exactly what he was and what he did and he never apologized but that's because he didnt think he should because he had a reason to be so inraged at the world because the world was cuel to him even own parents never tried to help you never heard a word from his family. So he felt abondoned and was shown that violence was the answer when he was really young he had a terrible childhood and i dont think he would have turned out that way if he was shown some compassion when he was younger..it really messed with him but he was a very smart young man and ive listened to alot of recordings of him having conversations and everything he would say...made SO much sense..almost too much sense..like i get why things got out of control for him before he even knew it...😢 sorry about the book i just wrote for you to read but just had to get that off my chest because if you couldnt tell im a richard R. Junkie 🖤 anyways good day, cheers 🍻
Yeah, and yet we aren't all sickos who terrorize children and old people. Hmm. It's just pathetic, this bleeding heart attitude of blaming evil old society or a bad childhood for the actions of such criminals. It is unbelievable how credulous people can be, and they are just the type of people predators like Ramirez would most easily con. Shows like this are also quite sickeningly exploitative--It is just unbelievable a freak like that went on the Maury show, and it can only encourage more would-be killers to act out in order to become famous.
Reading lie detector/paternity test results is like a perfect conveyer belt of big reactions. It keeps the ratings up since there’s never a dull moment, the situations aren’t serious enough for people to get mad about the show exploiting. Doing interviews like this with serial killers (or mass shooters since that’s the main kind of killer in the spotlight now) would be almost universally condemned.
She didn’t make it up for attention. There’s literal evidence presented in the Netflix documentary showing the bullet wound in her neck. She got shot in the face.
Well, yeah . Very creepy, especially if it’s the Night Stalker, bona fide creepy. It makes one wonder if it’s worth having a firearm in the house . Should keep it under the bed or bedside table, quick enough to draw it. If you’re a light sleeper you’re going to be up and awake at the slightest sound, the click of his firearm.
Fight or flight. One of his other victims William Doi got shot in the face and still struggled to shoot Ramirez with his own gun to protect his wife. Sadly the damage caught up to him and he collapsed and died
Listen carefully, that’s not what he meant. He actually meant that people who don’t choose to kill don’t do it because they are “imprisoned” people. I can’t fathom the evilness of his spirit.
Yeah he really was an absolute coward. Going after the weakest of society like children and elderly. And if he encountered a grown man he'd sneak up on them and shoot them with a gun. When the neighborhood was beating him he was in fetal position, terrified begging for his life the coward.
He did get his hands on him after he fired those two additional shots. They briefly wrestled and Ramirez managed to throw him over and then bolted, immediately. The source is Philip Carlo’s book: The Nightstalker: the life and crimes of Richard Ramirez.
Richard wasn't as cowardly as people like to paint him as. He was not afraid of people, or anything really. He just didn't like to fight unless he had to. I'd run too if I shot a guy in the head and he still managed to get up and come after me. I think that was more so him being creeped out and risk management. He knew how to fight though. His cousin taught him, and he briefly took karate classes when he was younger.
I was 6 when night stalker was on his killing spree. Scared the hell out of me. Seeing his sketch picture on the news. As I retraced the addresses of his killing spree, he once killed a couple blocks from my dad's work as he worked the grave yard shift and he also killed another victim about 8 miles from my house. To think this guy was so close is surreal.
@Marta Twardowska prove it, prove that my metaphysical Twin Flame had children and is a bloated stingray puppet of Mexico and not a tall extremely handsome American Native Lakota Sioux. I bet you can't Nancy Drew with no life super obsessed with my guy. He is my fiancé bitch. Go date Ted crybaby I wet my pants Bundy 007. Good luck Nancy Drew my boy.
@Marta Twardowska I don't see your evidence. I repeat it again; Prove to me that my metaphysical Twin Flame fiancé is a not a tall, slim, muscular, extremely handsome Lakota Sioux with cheseled features and just a bloated Albino stingray puppet of Mexico. Prove it Nancy Drew.
God how terrified those women must have been...i feel so bad for them..and the one women in the red shirt had kids in the other room omg i can't even imagine.. but I'm soo glad made it through 🙏💙💗🙏💙💗 🙏 💙💗🙏
But let’s not think about that or push them to it. Saying that, most humans have the capacity to become Cristiano Ronaldo, so why don’t we help them do that instead 😬
Actually Ricardo Leyva Muñoz Ramirez did not have a choice with sociopathic upbringing and being taught jungle warfare. Peterson knows nothing about him in her general sense.
You’re not allowed to talk for too long on these shows before being interrupted. Also this dude has a screwed up childhood but nobody mentions that. That’s what turned him into a murderer
Yes. The swines actually invited him and as a guest he was mocked. One does not mock a guest, no matter the place or time. A vuest is to be respected and homoured. These swines beed a visit from Night Stalker II.
Maybe Maury meant that everybody has a sadistic side, but they would be mistaken to give into it. Chaos would be if everybody gave into something like that.
THIS is the Maury I remember from back in the day! When I first came across an episode of the downgraded "Maury" show, where had had switched over to a more Jerry Springer-like format, I was like "WHAT!?!? When did THIS happen???". Of course, I never really watched his show regularly...I preferred Ricki Lake and Jenny Jones 😆... but it was still a shock!
I have two questions first: Her claim was that they had no idea that a killer was on the loose , but yet everything about the Night Stalker was televised, She said she could identify him from a lineup it's something she would'nt forget yet she was shot in the face and so was her husband but yet they did'nt lose conciousnes. something does not make sense
It wasn’t televised until after quite a number of murders were committed. She was likely traumatized and could not identify him. I highly doubt she is making this up. I am sure the show was able to easily confirm her story. Think before you comment.
1.) Social media is completely different today than it was in 1985. There’s nothing strange about them not knowing about Ramírez. 2.) She confronted him before she was shot. And even if she didn’t talk to him prior to being shot, she clearly wasn’t shot in her eyes. Everything adds up. Thank Christ you weren’t a detective working that case, or any serial killer case for that matter.
I do get the sense that if we didn't have laws, quite a lot of so-called brave people would commit murder. I think the reason we see less and less of this is because doing so has become more and more consequential for the murderer. It's the same reason we don't see the wild west shooting during the gold rush. I would not want to know how many of my fellow American citizens were capable of murder.
He shot them with a .25 automatic. The caliber wasn’t the issue, it was the particular ammunition he used. It was very old, stale, and underpowered, to the point that it wasn’t even able to penetrate a human skull.
