Fabulous and Fun interview! Very excited to watch this season, and see Richard Rankin portray Roger, he's always been one of my favourite characters in the books
Thank you Chris valley . I've seen your nice and heart warming comments all over my videos on RU-vid and I am really gald. I think you might have the opportunity to talk to me one on one. one .
Rofl - nice to know that Richard has as warped a sense of humor as I do. It's awesome to see him relaxed and himself. I can't wait to see what Ron puts Roger through.
Karen A I wouldn't say warped but typically Scottish to me Sam has the same thing it's part self depracation , part sarcasm and part dry wit and is pretty much the same as Irish sense of humour it's the same thing
I agree......awesome interview. He had fun. You had fun. He's going to be amazing in this part. I've seen several interviews that he's done and this one was the best.
Keri Lumm he is I've seen him in two other shows at least so yes very talented and can't wait to seem more as Roger Mac . Seen him in thirteen and the syndicate
Oh, Richard! You cheeky little bugger, you! LOL I'm so sorry! He didn't have Sophie there to make him mind! Next time, DEFINITELY bring Soph!😜 You'll see who wears the pants in that friendship! Just don't tell Richard we said so! 🙊🙊 😂
Chris Valley correct Richards a Glaswegian Roger however is not he's from Inverness which is closer to the highlands and Glasgow is more in the south west of the country and is a different accent entirely so I'd say he worked with carol ann the dialect coach to perfect it same as sam did as Jamie's a highlander whereas sam is from new Galloways in the border region so he's accent his more softer and more lowland accent than Jamie's would be !
