In Busy World of Richard Scarry: Now I Know My 123's, Scarry's crew of creatures teach kids lessons both academic and moral. Several short segments and two short music videos keep the pace pumping. When Sally discovers that she has a mental block for numbers bigger than six, she proclaims, "I don't like counting and I don't like numbers." Brother Huckle Cat and Lowly Worm solve Sally's trouble by teaching her the "one two, buckle my shoe" rhyme. Next, a rodent in a turban invents numbers to facilitate his job counting chickens. Finally, a boy learns how to save for a new bicycle and his friends pitch in. Appropriate for children age two to five.
