Love this segment bro. At work n unc chapel Hill. Plumbing a 4 story media building git my cart and my lmc n the head phone. Nuch love bro. East cost ...bay love.
THIS IS MY FAMILY’S HISTORY!!!!!!👏🏾 I appreciate what you have put together to shed light on coptic and the positive attributes we brought forth. May you continue to be blessed 🇯🇲🇨🇳. One love
yo bro! that was a dope deal! I never heard of brother love OR the zion coptic church before this. Thank you! After watching the last videos i went and learned about jack herer and rick simpson but this was a real treat! believe me, I know when I see one! Keep up the content bro, it's the only thing keeping me going out at our ferndale store!
Wow! This was amazing. You're doing a great job bringing this kind of info to people such as myself on the other side of the world who have never even heard of characters such as 'Brother Love'. If you're running a one man operation then here man then I take my hat off to you even more so than before. You're doing a great job of these vids regardless. Might I suggest you do a Kevin Jodrey episode given his background in the top end of the black market throughout the 70's & 80’s. Ask him about his family's involvement in the cannabis importation game back in the 70's & 80's and get him to discuss the varieties and regions the different cultivars of cannabis and different types of hash that hail from said regions of the globe.
not to be 'that guy', but most of the information here was recycled from the documentary on amazon prime known as "square grouper". a lot of the footage here came from that if i am not mistaken. many of the interviews definitely came from the work of that documentary.
Great video.I'm born and raised in mass and we've always had treez around since I've could remember and I'm 38.thanks to some of the most legendary hustlers to come out of mass🤘🤘🤘
This is completely inaccurate. My father James Tranmer was a member of this church and served 23 years of a 35 year prison sentence for his involvement in the Coptic church. Tommy Riley was just a mouthpiece used in interviews with the media. The real leader was a Jamaican man.
Hey man who is this?I'm pretty sure ur dad did 30 years. I mean didn't he? If I'm wrong I'm sorry. And also sorry about ur mom man I got to see her and Dan when I was in Iowa at Zephaniahs a couple years ago. This is Felix Hanson
@@m.d.walker this church was a collection of white and black people, all living together as brothers and sisters. There was no racial politics. So stop bringing your racial politics into a situation you know nothing about.
@@felixhanson4169 yes, we have met a few times over the years. You know my brothers pretty well, and my mother was a rare person in this world, thank you.
I gotta say Big up yourself and nuff respect! Still Jamaican Farmes grow Ganja as their cash crop and still the goverment hunts small scale farmers like their in arms trade instead of selling Ganja. Sadly Ganja and guns are linked in Jamaica. The decriminalisation happend because it was usally for some gunmen to trade ganja for guns or ammunition, consinder ganja to be the alternate currency in the garrisons. Since 2015 the possession of 2 ounces is allowed and there are some medical companies selling their bud to Europe. I hope that there will be a full scale legalisation someday, so even the small farmes can get a piece of the pie! But I doubt so, it's an important question: If they legalize the herb, WHO's gonna benefit?! Blessed Love, stay save anyone!
Used to work with a guy who told me all about the square groupers and how they were in church all day and night. I didn't believe him until he showed me a Polaroid picture of him and brother love
Epic. Brother you need to do one on the "King of Pot" Bruce Perlowin. i met him at a Kundalini Yoga festival he gave me a offer to move to his mansion and live on his land to be his personal yoga teacher but i never took him up on it because i was already on a seperate mission. Look into this guy Bruh, he the guy who owns hemp inc. pretty sure he retained his wealth after gettiing busted and started hemp inc 1💛
Jamaica would be so much better off if they legalized cannabis. Imagine Jamaica with legal Amsterdam style shops and the tourism it would bring. People who would have gone there probably go to California or Colorado instead because of the safety and legality. The whole world should legalize.
@@andyokus5735 is it really legal, with all its massively expensive regulations, carefully crafted to decriminalise and legalise trade for the rich, with criminalised trading by the poor. Astranomincal fees enable the rich, disenfranchise and cripple the poor.
@@ingridcoke1360 Ingrid dear, I lived in Jamaica over a long period. I did business there. Multi-millionaires bizness. White boy Jamaican in the posse. I know a lot more about all the inner workings of JA than the average American who doesn't give a shit about what happens to poor Black beautiful little Jamaica. And yes, they don't bust people for weed there anymore. They are all terrified of the Chinese virus. America has destroyed the once magical Paradise of Jamaica. It's broke my heart. I had to watch it slowly happen and there was nothing I could do about it. All my time living in Montego Bay was like dying and going to Heaven!
@@andyokus5735 you may not be busted for smoking it with very limited possession there off, but sure as hell will be busted for growing and trading if you're an honest decent farmer who can't afford the legalised extortion fees intended to be only afforded by the cartelized rich. A model of a liberated trade is perhaps what takes place in Uruguay, where farmers enjoy B2B trade facilitated by their government. Jamaica's corruption is waaaaay to deeply entrenched for that level of liberation in fair trade to happen anytime soon.
My names Felix Catt Hanson I was one of those kids that's my dad at the last cut with the blonde hair next to Keith Gordon. "Nyah" Also known as Jimmy Hawkins. Also in the opening cut.
you still using this account felix? Interested in connecting with you if possible to interview / discuss content ideas, get to know each other. very interested in the history of this topic.
I grew up in the illegal flower market and I want to preserve this time period so generations to come will know what this time period was and the sacrifices people made. I was initially motivated to start this channel to help entrepreneurs and small businesses. Big money is coming into this industry and if your not educated and on top of your business acumen then your going to get eaten up by bug business. Thanks for watching and I appreciate your questions and interest. Much love cuddy
@@LMCxLUC Exactly what i was hoping to hear. I'm a former Marine, and grew up in the "hood" but never got into cannabis because i had asthma growing up and played sports. I thought it was the same as tobacco as there wasn't a lot of education back then on the topic, like today. I majored in marketing and business administration for my masters, but fell in love with the plant during undergrad which is were I got my 1st introduction to the "Herb bearing seed" Genesis 1:29. Appreciate your content and your knowledge. Do you have an Instagram as well so I can follow?
They made multiple billions of dollars (adjust for inflation in the 1970s), kept an entire countries economy afloat, was a church so they didnt have to pay taxes on any of their businesses.
@@LMCxLUCyou need to get your facts straight first. Cause you are way off!. Thomas Riley was just a spokes person. The boss man was Niah Keith Gordon. This story goes very deep. Back to 1938, to a one Jamaica born Louva Williams.
Well thank God for the Jamaican weed. Until I started getting that it was a crappy Mexican Brown weed the worst ever. And it was going for $40 an ounce.
what algorithm did you use to avoid automated IP copyright infringement algorithms from flagging this? those black lines on the copyrighted scenes are very intelligently implemented. I dont care that this was stolen since there is no other sources for some of this and this needs to be on youtube in one way or another.
Billions said the government ?? I’d say maybe a few billion, if that. I’d like to see those boats or planes used to move that amount of weight. An ounce was dirt cheap in them years
