@kolo Whilst i do agree with Your assessment,i have to point out that in my opinion neither James88 nor i have in any way discouraged prosperity as a concept,rather the practice of these ‘pastors’ seemingly being way too preoccupied with being wealthy and obtaining even more wealth rather than actually preaching God’s word.They are despite belonging to protestant denominations more like the modern versions of the insolvency traders back in the 14th to 16th centuries in Catholic Europe,which was as we know one of the main reasons Martin Luther writ his theses originally. Actually, It is your job to judge them. Paul tells us in Corinthians that we are to judge those who are in the church and sinning. If they refuse to repent after 3 times we are to kick them out of the church. We as Christians MUST hold each other accountable. If there is no accountability then we can and will do whatever we want and that's when Satan can come in and destroy us. It's not loving to sit back and say nothing or say stuff like "I can't judge" That's just laziness on your part. Do you not know that Jesus was very wealthy and rich when he physically walked the earth? If not, why did he have a treasurer? Even the garment that the roman soldiers cast lots for was very expensive. They wouldn't have cast lots for rags or common clothing.
