Where is Michael Jackson? He was one of the most wealthiest singers ever, and still has a net worth of 2.4 billion after his passing, especially from Thriller and Beat it 😎
Barry Gibb from the Bee Gees is also missing from this list. Bjorn and Benny from ABBA and a whole list of other artists are missing. Like explain to me how Engalbert Humperdink or however you spell his name makes more money then Mick Jagger from the Rollingstones.
@@starskreem8258 Barry Gibbs is only worth a 140 million dollars and I don't believe the list goes that low. The rolling Stones as a group is worth 1.45 million.

I’m sure that these wealthy and successful vocalists in addition to earning $ from their talent ALSO invest their $ (as they should) but just how much of Dhanni Harrison’s wealth is from being a vocalist or musical artist, and how much is it legacy from his father George Harrison? I don’t have a problem with Dhanni Harrison’s inheritance from his father, but there’s an implication (imo) that these singers made A LOT of money from their careers in the music industry. Just how much $ do ANY the former Beatles children earn in the music industry separately from their famous sires legacy/inheritance? I’m not trying to be mean to Dhanni Harrison. My comments are not meant as an attack on him. I’m just critical of him being on this list
How do you know they don't? You know it's billions of people in this world, if every capable person gave 10 bucks a month we can all get rid of world hunger. How much do you donate?
The rich have no taste, they have no feelings, the way of love and their way of life is different. What makes me listen to people who I am sure do not express me and do not represent me?
So everybody with money has no taste? Half of those artist started with nothing and work hard to get it. I met Jimmy Buffet twice and he seems like a normal guy that enjoys life that seems to sing on the side and worth alot of money.
@@HEAVYCHEVY409 They talk about freedom of expression, and when we express our feelings, they delete our words, but if you are rich, you can talk about shit, and you will find people who will listen to you. This is the concept of the age of capital (monopoly).RU-vid also comes up with stuff that looks like shit and asks us to swallow shit in silence
This had to have been made before October 2023 when Swift became a billionaire. McCartney became a billionaire in May 2024 followed by Springsteen a couple months later.
Biggest entertainer, most iconic musician legend of all time, not even on the list, late Elvis would be at the top, even though had the worst deal, manager took 50% of his earnings,if he had earned like the artistes of today, recent Beyonce 1 hour concert in Dubai $24 million, from the 80s onwards musicians, actors started earning significantly a lot more through sponsorship, commercials, percentage of profits.
Don't forget that Elvis was screwed out of touring outside of the United States. That being said, Elvis and his possie screwed many artists by rereleasing their music without paying them royalties.
I'm wondering what your source is, because several of those don't seem right to me. For example, Ri-Ri has done exceptionally well, and I wish her well, but I don't think she's worth more than Paul McCartney. 2nd example, you place Taylor Swift at 18 with $400 mil. Down near the lowest. I'm pretty sure I saw a newspaper headline in the last 6 months that Taylor was 'now' worth over a billion dollars. That's about 2 or 3 times what you think she's worth. I'm not saying who's right or wrong, I'm saying your rankings and data don't seem to agree with some others I've seen. I've also seen some very sharply differing accounts of what Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin) is worth. You don't mention him at all. Do you mention Elton John? I don't remember seeing him, but Elton made a lot of $ from his own records, but then (as did Paul McCartney) he went on to write a lot of music for other people. Like for example, the music from the Lion King and Mu-Lan and several other Disney movies. And while we're talking, I seem to recall Ri-Ri has started a fashion brand and a cosmetics brand, both of which are doing sensational. Now how much of Ri-Ri's wealth is from her record sales, and how much is clothing & cosmetics? No, I don't begrudge her that, I'm just saying compare apples to apples. I don't know if you mentioned any of the Strolling Bones, but both Mick Jagger & Keith Richards are very well off. Yeah ~ Keith's not a singer, ok. Jagger has a degree in economics. Completely outside of music, he knows a thing or two about managing money, same as Brian May knows a thing or two about astronomy. He's pretty good guitarist, but he's also a member of the Royal Society. Nick Mason was the drummer for Pink Floyd, not the singer, but Nick went and bought a lot of expensive collector cars. Many of those cars are now worth 50x what he paid for them. I know less about his real-estate investments but I know he's made some. Nick is a very wealthy lad, and at least half of that isn't from being a drummer, it's from being a very savvy investor. He has a way of buying the right thing, at the right time, at the right price. [final thought, 2 hours later] Have you seen the opening week numbers for Taylor Swift's latest album? Tortured Poets arrives at number one and it's sold almost as many in the 1st week as any female performer's album in the 1st week ever. Only one to ever do better was Adele's "25" at 3.45 million. edition.cnn.com/2024/04/28/entertainment/taylor-swift-tortured-poets-department-sales/index.html
Bruce Springsteen is #6 for 650 million. How.....born in the USA made him famous, bet he don't think that any more. I Wouldn't give a nickel to see him if he was across the street .
I have 50 years of being a studio musician even though Jessica was not one of my favorites she was a singer shame on you you probably never did anything
There were two songs on my phone by Mariah Carey, Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga, and i deleted them from the phone. Thank you for your valuable information.
Their money is the money of their listeners = about who money you are talking about ?!I gave them their works and yes I lost a lot of time listening to them but that's life, there are no free lessons
I hate it when you see what everyone is worth because this is just what they have earned throughout their career not what is in their bank account now. I'm sure they haven't kept every penny. They had bills to pay .
All good till the end. 1st Rihanna. 30 years ago she will be onlya a bar singer. Catastrophic. 3rd ceazy Madona. God help her. Jennifer Lopez 15th place.😢😅😅 She don’t know what is M of Music.
If Rihanna worth $1.7B than the Michael Jackson was worth $2.2 Billion. MJ been around for 4 decades. If Paul McCartney is worth $1.2 Billion then Prince has to be worth about that much and he's been singing since the 70's until his death.
Another list to add to the countless that have already appeared on these numbers, another list in which the numbers are very different in relation to others. Regarding this, I'll just say this: how come Britney Spears doesn't appear on the list? It's impossible. Another misleading list to forget.
You miss Mick Jagger 520 billion and the rolling Stones net worth is 1.45 million and yes they still tour they just had their 60th anniversary 14 shows in 2022 and they're getting ready to tour 16 shows in 2023 and all the tickets are already sold out. You also missed Steven Tyler Aerosmith 165 million dollar net worth.
