My fave DJ in 2000's was Richie Hawtin and his minimalist techno, I then got into Deadmau5...but, now I only focus on my own music, I can code and love 3D modelling and animation and want to merge the two, I want to merge more because I'm into all forms of art, music, architecture and engineering...
As Richie Hawtin mentioned, it takes time for things to catch up. I really believe for a complete revolution to take place, not just in terms of the context of the way things can be, as well as the timeframe it will take to get there, focusing at the core of where today's capabilities comes from, specifically silicon design, and at least at first steps building a little team to purely experiment on that core technology, and expending individual components of it whereever can be deemed necessary can be a big boosting factor as for how much time can take for things to move forward, as well as it can be a big hack to think and act really big in development. Silicon in its own properties is limitlessly expandable, but under specific usecase condition-based developments as we see today's manufacturing take place and constitute the whole space as the mindset over this engineering matter, things are severely limited, in most cases wildy derivitated even from most basic forms of IO capabilities that can actually easily be achievable. And that especially becomes important, when we consider mobile platforms. Of course, It can be thought that everyone is better off dealing with their own profession. But as we get closer into a more unified hardware-software space, and more and more Interactive applications will benefit the whole of the spectrum of functionalities that will be available in a given platform, any deeper realization can actually be in a most basic sense a healthy pressure dose that can be pushed forward to manufacturers, as idea, or in better terms, a collabration. Because without outsiders, or customers representing that highly educated pressure, we'll keep having similar limitations despite how much more years passed, despite most of those limitations are actually cheaply easy to get rid of for manufacturers, as some little design patches, as little potentials, waiting to be actualized. IO is the great example of that. And, IO is really a big key to great expandibility, that I believe will be key to achieve a magical interactive experience, in a way we like it to be, in addition to a potential software design matter.
He looked pretty young most of his 30s but yeah I guess that happens when you hit 40s, tbh he still looks pretty good for his age, a lot of DJs look so rough when they hit 40
Strobe has helped me through some very dark times in my life. I personally think Joel is a genius some people to begin with laughed at him thought he was a gimmick ohhhh hang your head in shame. Long live the Mau5!!!!
Is it true that you're both going to sit down with acoustic guitars in a shed and croon out some shit, while being filmed by someone who, despite only ever uses a phone, is really really good...?
This sounds like the NFT of music. And I don't mean that in a good way. Edit: Just looked at the website and saw the words "metaverse" and "decentralised" right on the front page. FML 🤣 Edit 2: Yep. LITERALLY IS NFTs 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
