⚠️ PLEASE REMEMBER! The Deer are wild animals in this park and should not be approached! All footage you see has been captured from designated footpaths and keeping a distance using a telephoto lens. Please keep dogs on leads whilst in range of animals!
The first episode of my first Autumn series is here! Starting with the famous Richmond Park, the largest of London's Royal parks and a national nature reserve, notably for its steady population of Fallow and Red Deer.
We start with an intro from yours truly 😊 and then dive into the beginning of the day spent at this park, which was a misty dawn, yet atmospheric from the sights and roaring sounds of the Red Deer Stags. We also get a first glimpse of the enlarged ponds which host some of the park's wetland birds and aquatic species.
If you hear plane noises, I can only apologise as the park lies under one of Heathrow Airport's flight corridors, and whilst I've done what I can to reduce the noise, some unavoidable may remain. That aside, it is an oasis of natural beauty for its city dwellers in need of a green space.
