Rick and Morty has always been good at hitting those emotional moments. Rick listening the voicemail hits hard and the fact that Unity is actually worried about Rick going back to the spiral that is chasing Rick Prime gives an extra layer of concern for the audience about Rick’s wellbeing. I normally don’t like the president episodes but this actually I like.

4:30 I love that they're all holding the handrails while Rick is just casual. Also they're being swayed by the G forces of the helicopter. But Rick isn't affected at all. Like he has his own inertial dampeners 😅

i never had any expectations that Unity would come back. And i do think it is silly of her to be pissed at Rick for ghosting her, after she literally blocked him out of her life. But i like that because that is incredibly realistic to real life. I would like to think Unity and Rick could work, but it won't. I doubt we will see her again, but i never thought we would see her again anyway, so who knows. This was a good episode.

Rick definitely was trying to see if Wong was still under unity’s control so he called Wong a nutritionist seeing if she would correct him. Which she did not she is not a nutritionist.

I recently played through Mass Effect Trilogy for the first time in years. Since Keith David voices both the president and captain anderson, it kinda threw my world into chaos thinking about Captain Anderson doing stupid shit like the president from rick and morty . Makes me feel weird lol.

I honestly enjoyed seeeing the Zigerions in the background working on Unity's ship. Great Easter Egg and it's nice to know what happened to them after Rick blew up their ship since we haven't seen them since. Rick could have told Unity about them and to take over their planet.

I love the references, but just so you don’t get too confused on Wong, she is a therapist. Rick called her a nutritionist so that he could catch unity in her body, which is why he sprayed her.

Continuous growth also with Rick bringing drinks and sad drinkinng with a friend instead of self wallowing. This episode with the president. 1st episode with Mr. PB and gang, season 6 he tried to with Piss Master but it was too late. Which is also reminicent of him trying to be friends with the guy who kept using his sanctuary toilet, but he had died that previous night in an accident. Rick is appreciating life more, and realizing that bonding with other people who are also dealing with their own crap isnt so bad.

You have misinterpreted what was going on there -- Dr. Wong had been taken over by Unity, but Rick wasn't sure if she had been or not, since she assured him that she was not. So, Rick pretended that he believed her occupation was nutritionist instead of psychologist to test her, and the Unity possessed Wong confirmed what was not true, proving to Rick that she was possessed by Unity, and prompting him to shoot her with the anti-Unity gun.

2 corrections - Helen's not a nutritionist - that's was a trap, and when she's said she was a nutritionist that proved to Rick that it was unity, not Helen. US presidents get 2 Terms, not 8. A term is 4 years, so what you mean is 8 years/2 Terms, not 8 terms

An American President can only be such for two terms, with each term being four years. You said eight terms. You may have gotten that a little confused. And I think the voice mail from Miscavage at the end wasn't in reference to the religion spying on the characters. I think it was because the secret service man that was a scientologist reported back to headquarters that Rick Sanchez was saying nice things to him. I am sure in this universe that scientology would love to have Rick as a member.
