I know Rick is known for his badass quotes but Summer's got some pretty cool, badass and iconic moments and quotes herself. No wonder Rick trusts her with failsafe and backup options

Which is why Rick keeps her around. He keeps Morty around for the benefits of invisibility (seen in Evil Rick’s hideout that was covered in Morty’s) and as a yes man and cannon fodder.
