OK, I'm addicted to Rick Astley's positivity. Kid's got some soul, and he can do any kind of music, sometimes even a bit better than an already excellent original. Go Rick!
Brilliant! Makes me relive the tour when I hear this. I have never seen a support act gain the audiences hearts as Rick did. You certainly are a GIANT Mr Astley. Epic!!
I can hardly think of any covers he's done before this. He always seemed to come out with new songs from what I heard through the past nearly a quarter of a century (eek! is it really that long?)
@@woajaeron Now I seem to remember him covering Nat "King" Cole's When I Fall in Love around the tail end of either 1987 or 1988. Alison Moyet and Simply Red had covers out of very old songs at about the same time.
I arrived late to my first Manchester gig and only caught the last 3 songs. I was so impressed that I made sure I arrived early for the next 2 gigs just so I can hear Rick's full performance. What a man, what a voice, what a personality.
before the TT30 tour I’d never really listened to much Rick Astley but now Im absolutely obsessed! Such a nice and genuine person with an astounding voice x
Just love this....all the wonderful scenes from the tour and of Rick Astley (esp. 3:18 dancing in the sand dunes!). That's amazing that he is commanding an audience this large! That's terrific! Great new song--does a super job of covering the song!
This is amazing seeing Rick Astley's version of Raganboman, when the song was realised I genuinely thought it was a Rick Astley song realising it wasn't, but is Amazing,! 😚😊
WOW Rick! I'm blowing away! Absolutely, stunning, GIANT! I'm so happy for you and for us fans, that you could do that experience. I'm your fan from the beginning jn 1987!
I love it. It brings back so many happy memories from the Odyssey tour. You were the best support act ever!! (And I've seen the Petshop boys as a support for Take that ) Your show was the perfect warm up. Glad you included footage from Huddersfield and the bucket of water 😅😅😅😅. Hugs from Argentina 🇦🇷
Brilliant. Best support act ever! It was my dream come true to finally see Rick live. Now I just need to go to a full Rick concert. Thank you for joining Take That on tour and coming to Norwich.
I went to his concert last year, was great, but the down side was I was in 4 row but every body kept standing up and I couldn't see the stage, I'm 5ft 2 and all the big people in front of me were blocking my view of the stage, so I was so upset we came out before the end 😢🇬🇧
I was at Huddersfield on the night it absolutely piddled it down!! Love the footage of Rick tipping a bucket over himself. Have to say he has been the best support act Take That have had... id go so far as saying it was like seeing two acts as he was bloody brilliant!!
Lisa Simpson i was there too, was awful weather, was snoddened head to toe but i didn’t care one bit, rick astley was brilliant, love this song, together forever and beautiful life!
Amazing song. Was dancing along to it in Birmingham. What amazing support act for Take That. The best support act they have had. Finally got to see you live. Love your music in the 80’s.
Absolutely love this, was fantastic to see you in Sheffield, on the tour, you brought me back to my teenage yrs when you sang "THE SONG" !!! Brilliant!!!!!
Waoo this is such a great song, thank you so much for the video 🤗 You have the most beautiful and amazing voice, never give up keep being the one you are. Hugs from Denmark 🇩🇰 🌹 🌺
WOW!! What a great cover... Rick absolutely Rocked it at Anfield's Take That Gig... I'm sure I saw us on a video clip @ Anfield :) Rick for number UK No.1 ... See you @ Haydock Park in July ... :)
they kill this song. rick really nails the vocals. but i think its really that mostly the synth in the bridge being replaced with actual horns, that really just makes it pop alot more than the original.
