As good as Theighs Mon was, International statement and Out front in my opinion are the two greatest Primetime tracks ever created. Arguably fan based top three by popularity to me was International Statement, Arnold, and Out front. My personal top five was Out front, Power Plant, Touch and Go, Pro, and either Arnold or Eric D (with the guitar riff). So many great tracks.
@@djmohab2 Totally understand with the timed highlight as you had to cut the intro! Just imagine a football movie with the primetime tracks as scores and you leave the locker room to this piano intro. It's about to be a title game of epic proportions!
Here's a crazy thought ESPN - How about you do a highlight show on Sunday evenings and put some cool music to it. Who knows, you might inspire legions of adults 20 years later to go scouring the internet hunting down the tracks you used on that show. Could be some pretty loyal fans developed in the process. Whatever you do, don't get rid of that show after you create it.
I think it fits well for a team that finally wins its first Super Bowl. They used this for when Denver won its first in 1997. I think it would have fit perfectly for when the Eagles won in 2017.
Love love love this theme. So glad it was posted. One of my all time favorites of NFL Primetime. I have to say watching Berman and Jackson do highlights on Sunday nights in the late 90s was like appointment television for me. Sunday nights will never be the same again unless those two are doing highlights.
This makes me think of strong running games for some reason. Maybe both teams' running backs went off, or maybe one had a huge day, and one absolutely soul-crushing hit on the QB for good measure
My favorite NFL PrimeTime song, being that I seriously got into NFL Football in 2003 (age 14)...Thanks to me owning vintage NFL games on DVD and RU-vid, I can hear this song!!
Been trying to find this song for YEARS! Gosh the memories of Warren Moon and the Run-n-shoot offense back in the Houston Oilers days. Thanks for the upload 👍
@LEGO BY BEN - thank you so much for uploading this song!! A lot of people don’t know but this song is a huge unicorn during the golden age of ESPN NFL PRIMETIME and a lot of people have gone to deep lengths in search of this song!! A lot of good memories!!
I remember watching primetime highlights in 2011 on andy provin's channel. 1996, Bills v Colts, Bills made a massive comeback in the game, this song played. I loved it. So glad you have a clean version of the song without the vhs stuff
@@GeoGuy388 that was some game☆For the Bills to come back like that was amazing and with Berman calling the highlights back then☆Was I right about the game☆if it wasnt for the Colts' stupid penalties, Buffalo wouldn't have came back☆
Just my opinion. As great as most of these themes were, International Statement is clearly the #1 by many. Powersurge was also great, but the reality is they never should have stopped using Out front. For today's NFL Primetime Championship weekend, Outfront should be the AFC Championship and International Statement should be the NFC. Outfront was clearly the 2nd best Primetime theme, period.
My ideal songs for this year's Championship Weekend would have been Cold Fusion (a track only used once on Primetime that should have been used much more) for the AFC game, and Gelman by John Colby for the NFC game. However, it's no doubt that Out Front is one the best underrated gems of Primetime.
Cold Fusion was a good one. There are 2 others from the early 2000's I still do not know. Very good tracks. I'm sentimental to Out Front.....big fan of the 90's Bills and as a kid, it was the first music theme I listened to. Kelly is my all time favorite QB.
The fastest 3 minutes!!!!!! Your host Chris Berman. Chris Berman hosting the halftime show on ESPN's Sunday Night Football crushes an entire hour of Football Night in America.
It was either 1998 or 1999. I think they revamped Primetime in 1999 and Out Front was used for 1998 Fastest 3 minutes and then retired. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it was 1998.
This song is perfect for when a team finally wins its first Super Bowl. They played this in the Super Bowl XXXII recap when the Broncos finally broke through. Frankly I would have loved to hear this for the Super Bowl LII recap for that same reason.
I theorize that other than International Statement and Powersurge, ESPN probably doesn't have the rights to many of these out of house songs or they simply can't find them, because in the first episode they only played the songs I mentioned and most of the songs John Colby made for Primetime.
Because of NFL Primetime, watching the games became less important. And this song highlights the best games. And I know they cycle certain song for certain teams and that’s what made the show even cooler!
I Usually Resynced Over The Fastest 3 Minutes Highlights of the Current NFL Season on ESPN's Monday Night Football and the same goes for Women singing Songs by Male Artists when I watch Universal Dance Association coverage on ESPN2 or ESPNU to make it more like Choir Drill.
It's not, I actually requested a download link for the album at librarymusicthemes.net. Needless to say, one of the kind members of that forum delivered.
Hey Ben, here's a hot tip. on ESPN.com, the game highlights they have there use NFL PrimeTime songs for the majority of them. A few use actual announcers, but a lot use PrimeTime songs with clear audio and no background sound. I've followed it this week and last week, and have heard songs 1-14, 16, and 23. The highlights range from 15 seconds to 2 minutes. Big breakthrough?
