Please stop thinking like that. You have put in a mega performance for such a young team with no playoffs experience. i'm so damn proud of you guys. I threw myself out of bed at 2 o'clock in the morning to watch your games and it was always worth it, greetings from germany. GOOOO PACERS
Been saying this since last offseason. Burke is the guy. Carlisle coached with him before. I wonder if they got along well. Otherwise, he should already be here.
Congratulations on beating everyones expectations. I understand you guys came up short for the main goal but the layout to a champion roster is 75% finish. Bring back P.S. and Toppin and add a true shooting guard. Malik Monk would be perfect for a one year rental.
Great and exciting year for Pacers, lots of basketball fans enjoyed their highs and lows of the team success.. Loved it.. Thank You Pacers Warms my heart to hear Pacers talk openly about recruiting #NBAChampion #Pascal #Siakam My fave player professionalism exuded through an emotional and physical turmoil season.. Pay to keep him Pacers, he has the tangibles and intangibles of an ethical hooper with a winning mentality... #WeTheNorth x #BoomBaby
Resign Pascal + Obi. Let Jalen Smith do what he wants. If he leaves, that's fine. Let Doug go. Get Jarace some minutes next season. Trade 3 SRP's for late first
if they let P and obi walk, the organization is in a lot tougher spot than any of us imagined. all that prestige and still can't keep our own free agents would rather have #36 pick at a more team friendly contract dump the other 2SRPs, worthless Smith will stay, nobody will give him more than 5m after that string of DNPs Jarace will have to improve at the 3 spot to earn more minutes if Obi stays. Doug is a great man, bring him back on a minimum salary if possible. chase a contributor with the MLE... i think Hayward might be the perfect vet avoid trades that give up walker and mathurin for a "star". fools gold
Siakam was a critical piece of this playoff run. Plusses (+) He is an absolute clutch bucket from free throw line extended & to the basket. Championship mindset. Minus (-) Limited 3pt production, Free Throw inconsistency. Push (+/-) Defensive versatility. Summary: Is NOT a #1 offensive production player but is a core piece of a championship team. Failure to resign him would crush program momentum.
The way I see it, Siakam stays with the Pacers. I'd watch out of the Thunder though, space for a max player. Same with the Wemby's. Those are very intruiging rosters to join in. But so is the Pacers, and offers the benefit of continuity, a true pass first primary ball handler, and less risk of an imperfect fit.
I hope we can figure out how to finish games. Pacers only had one overtime game this regular season so crunch time experience was not there for this team. I'm very proud of them
Astute observation. The Pacers played very few close games this regular season. The high scoring meant most of their games were decided by 10 points either way. They have to learn how to close games to beat teams as connected as Boston.
You see it like that. I see it as he is a huge reason we are contenders in the future. He gave us the blue print to compete as a top 4 team in the league. You expect perfection. He has been great for us
Carlisle still talks highly of Mathurin's potential. But essentially said Benn has to play more within Carlisle's system, nothing is guaranteed, and he has to become a two way player. I believe Benn can get there. I just dont know how long the Pacers will for it to happen.
CONFUSED! There are 18 NBA cities smaller than Indianapolis. MAYBE RICK IS REFERRING TO SIMON’S UNWILLINGNESS TO SPEND MONEY ON PLAYERS. Indianapolis is not a small market. It wasn’t until the Pacers had additional financial backing from that investor in San Francisco that they had the green light to officially re-build. Simon wasn’t willing to spend money on this team or give the leaders the freedom to build it until money came in from the outside. STOP WITH THE SMALL MARKET BS.
@@RedemptionInChrist. Siakam had insanely costly turnovers and gave up buckets in crucial moments. If he was a stud, the Raptors wouldn't have traded him
Just play the game and quit giving energy to that "city" and "market" stuff. It really has LITTLE to do with anything but the coverage of the media. The REAL ones know better.
@@79glane928you are melting, chill out bro. See the future, most team in history had this same loss situation as us before they became champions. This happens
Over 50 points in the paint game 1 only 10 free throws over 65 points in game 3 only 14 points in the free throw.. understand basketball before you put your input on games
@@reneebelushi1985i think you are brainwashed by the small market bullshit. The calls are the calls. We still gave that game away regardless. The last 2 minutes was horrible.
Protect the rim? Its a layup line out there lol Dude cant rebound. He cant score in the post on Derrick White. This coach is delusional. Idc about your relationships. The first priority should be winning a title. Improve the teams weaknesses. Stop making excuses for them.
Agree myles doesn’t defend at all anymore. Cant rebound. Cant backdown a guard and take advantage of those opportunities. Like you said got blocked twice in one game in the post by a guard
The defense was horrible. They gave up a lot of points to teams missing key guys. Idc if they pressed full court lol Cmon man. Just tell me you have no plans to go for a chip and you are fine being that scrappy "small market team" that never gets it done.
I think this team is fooling themselves if they feel like they anywhere close to anything meaningful. They were very fortunate to get teams who were missing key pieces. Even the Celtics were down a 20ppg scorer and rim protector. If they dont go into this offseason looking at add to this core they are gonna just treat water as a middling playoff team. All these other teams are gonna be aggressive and looking to improve.
@@KingMiles88No I dont think they are. But even if they were, a top 4 team in a weak conference isnt very good or a legit title contender. You are exactly the kind of fan I cant stand. We should be trying to win a chip.
