first time i saw the band was with Dylan montreal forum and the band was the show , the next day bought big pink and still listening to them i feel mr Robertson stole from his band mates ,if that never happened things mifgt be different
Robbie didn't steal from his band mates. He wrote the songs, they also agreed to sell their publising rights to him. Also according Barney Hopkyns biography of The Band they all made a lot of money. Some got wasted on drugs. Also Robbie wanted to get off the road before something bad happened, too many drugs and car crashes.
