Charlie's tone and delivery is never short of soul stirring and heartwarming. Not just genius but genuine.

A pleasure to hear Charlie bring the "Walter" Chicago harp dynamics and musical, open tone to the front.

Used to see Charlie when I was 19 years old at The Nitty Gritty in Madison Wi . Had to alter my WI ISD to get in as you had to be 21 to get in. Also saw him years later when had Robben Ford as his lead guitarist.

Thank You, rybgpo for this absolutely fantastic video!! (I just played my Gibson Thunderbird Bass along for the first 5 minutes using my computer, subwoofer & Bass speaker & I had a lot of fun playing "with" Rick Estrin & Charlie Musselwhite!! Amazing Performance. Charlie is the first harp player I ever heard on record playing the Blues I liked when the Butterfield Blues Band came out with their album East West in 1966.

The thing is Charlie plays in 13th position and God knows what else, it seems he can play in any key on any harp like magic

The 21st century king of blues guitar! Such a shame he doesn't get the recognition like the lesser skilled mainstream players.
