@@sporvath its too short to skip, he figured out the perfect length where it's not worth it to pick up your remote and fast forward. Also he shows the time remaining on the bottom which is soo smart.
The three of them = Chaos personified. So neurotic, weird, sad, funny....this was a monumental roller-coaster of an episode. Nosotros papaya to all my Glassman Boppers/Goblins!
@@rickglassman Rick, please get Bobby to try the Avocado Quinoa salad with chicken from MF. It's a game changer & will make him forget about the house that fell off a cliff.
@Gee Santini Bruh, did you even watch Rick's pod when he had Bobby on? They have a similar dynamic to Bobby and Andrew, I don't think any feelings were hurt
@Gee Santini He knows Rick doesnt "have it". He probably clowns Rick with other comedians. Wouldn't that would make Bobby the "bully" in this situation? I doubt he just clowns other comedians behind their backs for 20 years while keeping some kind of friendship going. Have you seen the Theo podcasts where Bobby looks like hes going to lose his shit on Theo and vice versa? The banter, no matter how playful or intense it gets, is what keeps people watching. It was an incredibly awkward episode but it was hilarious. I have had numerous conversations like these in real life with friends so its honestly refreshing to watch it play out in a podcast setting, to see these moments of life are genuine. I think its all love honestly but I could be wrong. I've just seen Rick and Bobby both on their own podcasts in their own dynamic, whenever they come together its exactly as the title of the ep suggests "agents of chaos"
Rick deserves an award for surviving the hostile environment he entered at least for the first 45 minutes. That’s as far as I’ve gotten but getting the Mendocino Farms story straight feels like a turning point
lmao it was a joke and not a big deal. The env wasnt "hostile" Bobby was just being Bobby. Everyone else was fine and nice. If anything Bobby was the one that got embarrassed halfway through reading his texts lmao
I agree. This is why communication is so important. As Rick said, this is over a year and a half later and he’s finally able to clear the air and tell his side of the story😲. Some people go their whole lives without being able to clarify stupid little situations like this. Then people feel misunderstood because they haven’t had the chance to tell their side. Congrats to Rick on hanging in there and getting to the other side of it👏👏
as a person with autism i agree . rick is autistic and the environment bobby creates is so hostile to autistic people . especially when bobby knows about ricks autism . this whole episode is so ableist but even rick doesnt realise because he was diagnosed as an adult and got used to taking ableism . but calling autistic people weird and mocking them isnt ok . hope people like bobby get cancled when society gets better
The guy has a podcast.. (and an ego because of its success;) but no social or conversational skills???... ..he isn't aware of his own ignorance, and gets offended at jokes because he doesn't know whats real and isn't; and then gets defensive and attacks back with real emotions. Example: this podcast, and especially his Bad Friends appearance. He wants power, but tries too hard to get it through force instead.. making him appear cocky, thus pushing people away from him.
I left my wallet at their El Segundo location, so I appreciated the persistent reminders. How the fuck was he not passed at the comedy store. dude kills def gonna check out his podcast
Having seen Rick on Bad Friends before this episode and having a basic understanding of his neurosis and his comedic style, this episode made me love and appreciate him so much more. This was a great episode 🔥
Rick Glassman: "I'm not gonna get defensive because thats offputting as a guest" Also Rick Glassman: "Hold on, I CUT that wrapping paper purposefully!"
The chemistry between Bobby and Rick is so pure comedy, can't believe y'all didn't have him on sooner *and now with a word from our sponsors, Marshall Rug Gallery!! "Yes the worst rugs in America" -Bobby Lee 😂
Yea I realized it wouldn’t be a good show with Griffin when I saw how great bad friends is. With Griffin it would just be an hour of him singing or Riffin on his name....”woo woo woo”...
I feel bad for Erik but Bobby is just a crappy friend. The Erik Griffin podcasts with Bobby Lee and Steebee Weebee are the FUNNIEST PODCAST episodes Ive seen Bobby guest on. Those 3 together would have a million dollar podcast but Bobby admits he's lazy and reclusive. Santino got with Bobby because he badgered him for over a year. Erik Griffin has more self confidence in that he wont badger Bobby after getting rejected a million times like Santino did. Santino's podcast is cool but the episodes with Erik Griffin and Bobby And Steebee far outpass those with Santino. Santino' cool but he doesnt let Bobby just flow completely. He's legitimately sensitive and angry at times and Santino can overrun the podcast with his constant interjections and need to keep up with Bobby. Whereas Erik can let Bobby lead the comedy and the conversation
The card was SNEAKY SNEAKY! Brilliant Rick! As they insisted to read the redacted part, Rick was thinking “Heh. They’ve fallen for it. Everything’s going as planned. He he he”
Felt like they were constantly on the cusp of genuinely connecting, then suddenly its been an hour. I feel like everyone left a sweat puddle in their chairs. The only thing I can equate this episode to is 8 hours in the recording studio working on one song, leaving and feeling more relieved that you're back in the real world than anything that happened in studio.
I honestly don’t find him to be as weird as his guests or other podcast hosts do. Maybe just with OCD and neatness? otherwise he’s pretty standard and clearly just enjoys some David Wain alt stuff (wet hot american summer-esque stuff, which is awesome)
@@Spiritbomb88 you'll relate to this if you've watched their initial podcast at Rick's "Take Off Your Shoes" pod. They're just both playing a persona busting each other's balls and doing power plays, Rick was so quick and witty that he almost broke Bob. I love their chemistry as counterparts.
These two together is gold. They are both on a level that usually pairs with guests that don’t know how to handle it but now they have imploded into a conversational multidimensional loophole glitch In the simulation
There is serious resentment, jealousy and ego between Bobby Brian Callan, and Rick Glassman. Like they try to play it off as comedy but they really aren’t fond of one another. They basically just network to help their own career.
@@garfunkle5447 that's the beauty of comedy all of it is in the eyes and ears of the beholder, someone hate bobby Lee's comedy some people don't like bill burr no everyone gonna find this funny but to a lot it is
Bobby was so distressed by Rick wanting to keep the podcast going. Add that to the fact that he started playing Warzone before Brandon Dermer even left the room last week makes me laugh so hard
@@dr.meester3990 I mean lets be honest, Bobby been cutting TB episodes shorter for a while now. My bets are on because he wants to play witcher or warzone loll
@@jetjet6560 his whole mood changed once Glassman called him a cartoon im sure he was playing it off as some sort of bit (ie. Wanting to play Warzone) one of the few times I've seen him disturbed.
@@dr.meester3990 I don't think the cartoon thing really affected him. I do think he reeeaaally wanted to play warzone, because the moment he asks how long the podcast has gone was almost exactly one hour. At that point he was already trying to get out, you can see him squirming, and Khalyla (sp) keeping the convo going is killing him
Bonfire with Big Jay Oakerson and Dan Soder is by far the best. The actual comedy that happens the improv between both the guest. The characters. It rivals Ten Minute Podcast.
@@patricknorris9334 Since Rick is as funny as an old broom sitting behind a door, I wonder how did he get this instant fame 🤔🧐🤔 Bobby on the other hand is pure humor, but obviously was born into the "wrong" family. Anyway, Bobby is a legend and will stay a legend forever.
@@SweetSoulBrother0 -- Go watch the episode with Rick on SteebeeWeebee (Bobby's brother's podcast). Rick tells the same lie. He did not, has not, and will not have Will Smith on his podcast.
@@SweetSoulBrother0 -- I had a feeling you were being sarcastic, but honestly thought to myself; "Who would be sarcastic about something as dumb as this?". In doing so, I broke the cardinal rule of the internet; Never underestimate the number of ridiculous people out there.
Love that Gilbert being a fan of Rick and Take your shoes off podcast put the Marshalls ad in a few times, it was hilarious when they cut to it especially so late in the episode and Bobby kept on saying no we aren’t doing that the first 2-3 times Rick tried to do it haha
That cartoon comment (re: Theo collab) really hit a nerve. But Rick is right. ‘Bad Friends’ is a prime example. The set is literally filled with cartoon renderings of Bobby. I’d be far more interested in checking out what Rick was proposing. Will Bobby admit that Rick was right and go for the REAL? Or will he go for the usual? Stay tuned for the next installment.... 🤷♂️
Bobby and Khalyla refer often to Bobby's shadowy ways. Personally, I may not express this correctly, I understand their mention of shadow play as integral to Bobby's interpersonal tool of experiencing and perceiving others character and internal dialogue. Inversely, a shadow player is required to exhibit/display/demonstrate/represent layers of character to disarm/ease/submit others...it's not necessarily voyeuristic, but rather a method to acclimate oneself with others...Rick on the other hand has experiences that have nurtured different skills in handling this acclimation process differently. We are experiencing them disarm each other with their technique...I would compare the experience for me, to those battles between rival houses of defense we see in Marital Art films. I experience the conversation as testing out each others techniques and enjoying each others outcomes...Rick, I imagine, as very Larry David-esque. Both blessed to find partners willing and gravitated to them. Good stuff.
@C J comedy is subjective and to each his own. I love Mark, I’ve been watching him for years and I think he’s great but he’s not for everybody. Some comedians are huge stars and I can’t stand them but they have tons of fans such as Sebastian Maniscalco, Jim Gaffigan, Chris D’elia etc. Those guys have huge followings and I think their stand up is trash
I've seen every single episode of Tiger Belly... THIS episode was SPECIAL. Didnt know much of Rick previously but DAMN what an alchemical mix of personalities! He was both a catalyst AND a neutralizer to Bobby's 'Bobby-Leeism' I Need this to happen again - A LOT! please get Rick on again soon, he makes you funnier!
I know these two are friends, I know, Bobby loves, Rick. But when he was reading them texts out he was being so eerily passive aggressive because deep down. Rick, intimidates him. And I love how when it all comes full circle, Rick is like... "well, you did tell me to keep texting you over and over again, Bobby." Leaving, Bobby so shell shocked. Haha.
