A truly amazing character and a beautiful tribute, I stopped after season 8, but definitely loved the show ultimately, and loved Rick's character.

Thanks very much and I agree he was a great character. I felt they ruined the Walking Dead. I stopped at season 8 to I think, before Rick's death. Really started to go downhill after Glenn's death but not because he was missing. One big fault was just seeing the same thing over and over again throughout the season, and the violence had been really tuned down. Rick somehow was on the path to be good yet, not long ago was slowly turning into a madman. And I know it's the comics but seeing a lion as a pet seemed very silly.

@@thomasedit.8604 Yeah it did become a bit lighter, what really disappointed me was the least climatic conclusion I have ever seen on television, and that was the end of the Rick vs Negan series, they had this incredible build up, and then in a second Negan lost due to deliberate gun-tampering from the in-side man. It was so disappointing and just seemed like a completely budget cut conclusion. I thought Negan was amazing as well, to see the character loose in such a fast and pathetic manner was just not cool lol.

@@SolasComposer Lol yeah and that. Always found it ridiculous how Rick and Negan would always fight yet there was never a conclusion to it. Or some really stupid writing, such as Rick using the bat the wrong way to kill Negan, allowing him to fight back haha.

Ah I quit the show a long time ago but wow, this is such a beautiful tribute!!! 😱 You truly did him justice! I love how you incuded s1 too 😍 and all these scenes and voiceovers arranged like that wow!!! 1:51 - 2:21 the parallels and the scene flow here!!! 😱 omg so brilliant! And the next part wow! The "waking up" part at the end was so fitting and so genius! 😱 I love it all so much!!! Exceptional work!!!

Thanks very much Sky! Means a ton. Haha I stopped myself. Just got really bored of the same thing over and over again after Glenn's death, and the toned down violence. Also I liked seeing Rick turning into a madman than into some friendly guy. After this upload I started watching it again from S9 so we'll see if I get back into it or not haha. Thanks a lot again, and for the time stamps, happy you enjoyed!

@@thomasedit.8604 Yeah, it really was the same thing over and over again... and wow, you lasted longer than me hah 😀I never made it to season 9 😂 I think I quit somewhere on season 7? Or 8? Lol I don't remember anymore 😅 but I definitely didn't make it to s9 😂 and this show was so great before, idk... :/ Anyway, even tho I gave up on it, I truly loved your video!!! 😀 It's such a perfect tribute!!!

@@skyofuntamedfire I didn't make it to season 9, I'd be surprised if I lasted that long myself haha. I just ended up skipping over everything. Can't remember where I stopped now. I never got to Carl's death I know that, and I watched Rick's "death" on RU-vid. I've only watched a few episodes now through season 9 and I'm unsure if I'm even going to continue watching. Just isn't as good as it used to be. Thanks again!

@@thomasedit.8604 Ah sorry, I misunderstood you earlier 😅 yeah, actually same 😂 I didn't get to Carl's death either so we must've stopped watching the show around the same time I guess 😂 And yes, the show isn't what it used to be... I think they should've just ended it before it got that bad...

@@skyofuntamedfire Haha, I could have worded it better. I remembering seeing a clip of Carl saying his farewell to Judith, then all of a sudden you can hear Judith crying, but she's not even crying. Was pretty funny and just made the scene look pretty silly. Should have ended it long ago.
