Update: I was expecting a very different material for the sock material they used. In means of look and feel of the material. It seems like all the mainline pairs are like this. Which I did not know.
All the mainline sock sneakers have that material. The reason it feels slightly not like leather is it is lamb mixed with spandex to allow the leather to stretch, otherwise it would not fit to your calf. I think photos may just throw off what the material looks like in person.
How does the leather mixed with spandex part work? I’m just wondering bc I never heard you were able to mix leather and another material the way you can mix cotton and spandex or something.
so im a girl and got the over knee ones, but what i really dont like is that they have some sort of elastic which suffocate my legs where they end. My legs look like hot dogs and idk what to do except loosing weight:))) also got em a size bigger but yeah any advice please
I fit these in EU 40 perfectly, no gaps. What size would you recommend low Ramones? I tried a EU40 in high Ramones and it fit perfect too. Just not sure about low Ramones. Please help
I ordered these in a IT 35, my alexander mcqueens are a 36US/EU but my YSL WITH laces are a 35.5 in a half, how does these fit, will a 35 in IT size will be ok for me?
@@imanigray6078 I don't own these. I returned them. I don't know more then what's in the video haha. Sole would probably be possible. But if you ordered your true size I think it would be too big for you.
@@rami9274 Thanks for mentioning this, I don't hope anyone sees this video as a recommendation on how to put these on. It's good feedback also for me in future videos! Thanks for sharing.
Interesting to hear about your experience. I wear a 42.5 in Geos and these sock sneakers and they fit exactly the same. I wonder if they vary by season?
I honestly dont know which season these are anymore. The sizing is very different nowadays. It truly depends on when they came out, the more recent mainline seems to all be true to size. But not 100% sure for these.
I got some today and also have to return them. I sized down and my toes touch the end of the shoe.. yet they're STILL too big for me! No support on the sides or from above. I guess I would need to size up a half size and wear some extremely thick socks or something. My ramones (size 44) fit but I have to lace them extremely tight. I guess I just have skinny feet. Feelsbad...
That's unfortunate. But I don't understand something. You sized one size down from your original EU size and it's too big, but your toes touch the end of the shoe and you're thinking to size half a size up? So in the end you prefer just half a size down, but the full size down was already too big? Unless you're talking about the sides of the shoe being too big and your toes are too uncomfortable at the front.
@@roydevriess Yeah the sides and height were too big even though my toes were literally touching the end. I guess I would need to size up and add a large insole and thick socks. I think I'll have to just pass on the no-lace Rick Owens :( Although, the runners tend to fit snug and I've seen these shoes in a runner style. I wonder if these would work - www.vrsnl.com/p/rick-owens-oblique-runner-stretch-sock-sneaker-black/product/9342750/color/3
soo im trying to get this but im worried about my sizing, i usually wear a size 10 in nike or jordan 1 and i found one of this in a size 41, do u think it will fit me??
I will be aiming for two sizes lower than usual, but now I hear that it also depends on the years of release in means of sizing. I'm still aiming for two sizes lower, but it should also be a good deal in means of pricing. And the risk should be as low as possible, so the option to return would be really useful. Would this help?
I'd say the 41 would be a better fit. But that's based of me having a size 44 in Geobaskets and not fitting in the 43 size on the leather socks. So 44 minus 2 sizes is 42. For you 41.
@@roydevriess unrelated, but what socks do you normally use? I've been having trouble with socks that are too low, and big calves keep edging them down.
@@ivesbarrera Which ones? Canvas? Neoprene / scuba ones? I had those neoprene ones in my true size, but I could've worn those in 1 size lower. Since this is almost 2 sizes lower I can't really say.
@@ivesbarrera The socks I wear everyday in winter with all my rick sneakers are Surfanic Pro Ski-Socks. They're just below my knee and really soft, warm and comfortable. I bought one pair of thinner socks, for underneath suits, that also go to the top of my calves. Just at a random market.. I got those Surfanic Pro ski socks at Tkmaxx (Idk where you're from, maybe in your country it's called Tjmaxx.)
