Oh yeah they are tanks but also surprisingly comfortable. I just picked up some of the tall Dr Martin collab and they feel like they are the same weight lol. I hope you got a deal on those turbowpns!
I have the Clay colorway and I wear them nearly every day. The soles are slowly wearing down and once they are cooked I will have to pick up another pair as they are that good. Very comfortable and they give a really good Rick aesthetic - as close to Geos as one can get without actually buying the Geos. These are in consideration for when I need to buy another because they seem versatile and they are still available. I’ll see if I repurchase or buy a new colorway. Appreciate the detailed video!
I actually really like the clay and hate that I slept on them. Such a unique color. I ended up selling my Egert ones because I have milk geobaskets and I wear them a lot more. I like this pelican color because the grey is so subtle and the color blocking is actually really nice on them. I would highly recommend these or the original black ones without the cloud white hits.
I just got mine and wanted to see how other people are receiving them. I totally agree with the colour - its surprisingly versatile and these look just great on black, white and grey bottoms. Something about the contrast of the upper and the sole does it for me. Side note, these are sold out now in canada
Yeah I’m actually pretty surprised this one has sold as well as it has. I’m still seeing some bigger sites with full size runs though. Yeah this might be on the best colors. I didn’t like the black color blocking until I actually saw them in person and I was impressed. The leather is also incredible. Better than my other two pair for sure. All the colors are selling out. I really wanted the black and cream cloud but they are sold out so im deciding if i want the clay burgandy or these oyster white or if i want to get the black and cream from a reseller
Damn, I like them, but I'm afraid to go wrong with the size. How’s the toe box? Is it enough space? I mean, if it’s cold and I want to put on thick socks
They run pretty true to size if not half a size big. I’m a 9.5-10 in most shoes and the 9.5 is perfect in these. In most mainline Rick I’m the same sizes 42.5 or 43. Go with your normal size and you’ll be good!
Well it depends on how cold it is and how much ice you get. They aren’t insulated or and don’t have winter ready traction so functionally no I wouldn’t recommend as a replacement for winter boots. For style though, hell yeah you can wear them all year round. The color is pretty neutral and will match most things. I hope this helps

I love them both but have found myself wearing the turbowpn overall more because I love the color and I love the Geobasket (which I have in milk/black and find myself wearing most of the time) but if you want the Ramones look on a budget swing for the dbl drkstr
@@Chiteezie Hey bro! First of all, thanks for watching! Now to answer you question. They are very very light grey so I can see how the color seems like it's different every time. I haven't tried it with anything Creme or beige yet so I can't speak from experience, I'd have to see it. I did try them once with some really light blue jeans j and it just didn't for me. I'd have to see how they hit with the ones yoiu have. Yes technically they are my normal EU size but a half size smaller than my typical US size. The sizing chart for these (and most sneakers) is different than my Rick Owens shoes (mainline or drkshdw). With that said go 1/2 size down from your designer EU size or tts in Sneaker EU size. I cover this briefly at 0:55 and include a Rick Owens shoe size chart for comparison.
@@Daviddd1 unless you have wide feet I would recommend a 10.5 US as they run a little big. If you’re on the fence though true to size will be fine you just might have a little extra space but the shoes do have a solid lock down so they shouldn’t be too big tts.
