Coal is so cheap. I like the Aussie variety. Thanks for bringing it up Rick! The moral case for fossil fuels! India is turning back to coal because LNG is too expensive. Very hard to start a new coal mine in many places so supply likely capped. They are money printing machines right now.
If you look at Barrick gold we are at approximately the same configuration as June 2010. One spike in two months ( July 2022) then three months later (Oct 2022) . We just have to be patient. Historically in the biginning of a bear stock market, gold goes down too for a couple of months . Everything including the kitchen table gets sold off. . When the stock market is on the party on mode there is no interest in gold. We are still in the Hope mode there is a resumed rise in equities on and off . When they loose Hope they look towards gold.
How do the gold equities play out in this, do they crash along with the rest of the stock market or do they tend to follow their own path? Would love to hear your view on this

Charlotte, Rick, water is still an very political theme. I can easily imagine nationalising watere in case of shortages or growing prices. Pls talk the political risk every time you talk about scarce and indispensable natrural resources. Great stuff overall
