@@ricksmercedesobd1diagnosti332 thank you...actually my problem is the ABS light still on after the engine start....is there any part of this methode can solve the problem?
@@stephenkoko639 try to change the module @ the torpedowall backside of battery, forgot the name of it, red top...had the same issue and it solved the problem.
Go to my website and download the PDF code file. It has the connections in a picture. The 8 port doesn't have a positive so you need to use the battery. #1 hole is ground or you can use any ground. Thanks, Rick .www.mercedescodereader.com/files.html
@@RicardoMartinez-kr5qk - You mean hot as in positive voltage or the code reader light turns on immediately? Have never seen voltage on the 8 socket. If the code reader light turns on by itself there is a stuck solenoid or relay on that system allowing phantom voltage to pass. Repair the faulty part finding it can take some time since the code reader can't tell where to start.
Sorry for the confusion Rick, i thought i was getting battery voltage at port 3 but im not. What is happening is that the light on the code reader comes on as soon as i touch the red to battery.
@@george-louis6998 - No flash or one flash indicates there in no code stored by the DCM. Which is a good thing. I'm assuming you are putting Red to positive and black to a ground and the yellow into the other ports. Rick
@@RickDean thank you for your reply, I'm putting positive on battery positive, negative on number 1 of the 16 pin connector. And the test wire on number 6 or 3 to test. I got a very faint light after the 2 seconds. Or no light.
