Lucky I plan on mowing the grass this weekend anyway. Haha. Anyway, good review…

Yes please do! Your uncut grass is destroying our property values!

the hesitation/misfire thing you're talking about makes zero sense. your issue is elsewhere and not interchiller related. otherwise the truck would run like shit in an area with cold winter climate.

Appreciate the feedback but its a known issue in high humidity climates. Cold climates usually dont have 95% humidity issues like we do down here. Truck runs like new unless i run Race mode (AC off) for 20mins+ without gassing it! No issues if AC is on though.

Does it require tuning the fans and pumps?

Technically, no. In order to get the most out of the system, they recommend it because you can turn fans to run 100% of the time and intercooler pump to run at 100% duty cycle. However, we weren't going to toss our warranty away to get a tune for something that silly so we're still all stock on the tune and no issues. Since the kit comes with a secondary AC condenser fan, we wired ours to run all the time (with ignition) so we could get a small edge since we couldn't tune our engine fans/etc. Dont forget to Mash that Sub button for us my man!

Quick question, is it possible to keep oem heat exchanger and then toggle modes to bypass the chiller if desired? I am confused because of all the different forums discussing this topic and too much information maybe. Thanks for your time.

@@adamg3911Depends on the chiller. I believe Forced Induction does offer a bypass valve option to retain the OEM heat exchanger which uses an additional solenoid (wired to a switch) that you can toggle on/off. The only problem is there is definitely a space issue as it would be quite the feat to install the additional AC condenser and aux fan in the limited space behind the grill (without removing the OEM heat exchanger). We would have likely gone that route but for us having an aftermarket front bumper which reduced our space even more than OEM.

@@fullthrottlerick199 Got ya. Is it a space issue solely because of the aftermarket bumper?

@@adamg3911no space is super tight with stock bumper too but even more limited with aftermarket bumper & behind grill lights that we have. I'm not saying it'd be impossible, but you'd have to ready to fab up some brackets potentially (could be as simple as bending some Home depot L-brackets and drilling new holes). There are a few photos on the TRX-forum (ram-trx.com) that might help. Do a forum search for interchiller or chiller and you'll find the threads.
