With the many magicians that I have seen the one is the most creative is Rick Thomas because he has the many areas that he delves into the scary and the mysterious and those many illusions that Involve the beautiful panthers and leopards that Rick uses in his many illusions . As a reviewer that the many magicians that I have seen that Rick Thomas comes to mind he has that that great stage presence and like to work with kids on close up magic yet he is the master of the grand Illusions .
My opinon is that the linking rings should be performed to a close/parlour situation.In a stage a trick like that loses it's power because people can assume various things.
You can measure a magicians mastery of the art by, if or how he performs "The Chinese Linking Rings." Rick is at the top with "about" a dozen other magicians in history I could name:-).
