Love the acoustic guitar sections of this classic Yes song Nice also to see Lee Pomeroy enjoying his Chris Squire moment on this song which he no doubt grew up with
There are certainly better singers around but hey we are almost 52 years later and Mr. Wakeman keeping the Yes Torch burning for which I am very grateful🫶🏼
Ich habe selten so etwas Langweiliges gehört! Rick Wakeman hat in der 70er Jahren ein paar gute Sachen gemacht! Dann war die Luft raus! Er sollte zu Hause bleiben! 👍😎🇦🇹
I think maybe Rick is a bit too old for full wizard mode and he probably felt like a right prat too. Contrary to a lot of commenters, I thought the performance was acceptable although Jon Anderson's vocals were sorely missed. I hate it when musicians are not named but that's just laziness on the part of the uploader. The girl doing the main vocal did okay I thought but she's no Jon Anderson. I'd love to know who she was.
So sad to hear this. It is a travesty. It has been performed by many of the variations of Yes much better, readily available on RU-vid. The bass player managed to mess up Chris Squire’s beautiful opening chords. The singer killed it.
So basically you have 3 members of Yes(Wakeman, Anderson, Howe) all touring separately doing Yes songs with other musicians. I dont get it. At this point Jon Anderson and the Band Geeks sound better than all of them probably because no can imagine a Yes song without Jon singing. But obviously nothing sounds better than all the original musicians.
