OMG, Growing up listening to Rick wakeman’s music . What an incredible Amazing musician he is. I’m 69 now, never get tired of listening to his musics when playing Piano and Keyboard till now.
This is unequivocally one of the most beautiful songs ever written, and I wish more people could let their souls experience it the way it was intended. This is a song you feel in your heart; it is not simply heard. The fact that we can forever replicate this performance today on video is truly a marvelous privilege that cannot be understated.
When I'm having a down day I often play the journey to the center of the earth concert to right the ship. He is a rock icon that never got his do. Hope to attend his concert one day in heaven.
Absolutely! I am finding that most these rock n’ roll guys that are still around had profound wisdom. I wish I had had a grandfather like this guy! Oh, by the way…it’s He never got his “due”.
My mum loved this,we had it played at her funeral,so many people who attended asked what the beautiful piano piece was, when I told them all said what a suitable song and a stunning piece of music
Speechless. A bit of George Winston, a bit of Debussy, the tone and precision of Mauricio Pollini, on a dramatic grand piano. I've seen Tony Kaye and the terrific Geoff Downes with his honkytonk organ. Without Rick Wakeman, Yes is simply not Yes. See you all at the Tupelo Theater.
