The episode was entitled the All Rick-Quest Keys-mas 2017; Yes keyboard maestro, Rick Wakeman was back at Simon Mayo's Drivetime show on BBC Radio 2 and performed requests from the listeners.
At his twiddly best, he was back on Elton John's piano with his rendition of Greg Lake's I Believe in Father Christmas, O Holy Night, a medley of A Rootin' Tootin' Santa Claus and Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer, In the Bleak Midwinter, a medley of Ding Dong Merrily on High and In Dulci Jubilo; finished off with a medley of Strawb's A Glimpse of Heaven and Once in Royal David's City.
