I remember driving home from work hours after DB died and R2 played this on the radio - I burst into tears.

Ladies and Gentlemen, that's what a piano sounds like under the hands of a genius. Listen to Rick's phrasing and dynamics--so exquisite.

I remember being sat in my car on the drive completely mesmerised by this. I later got tickets to the first of the nationwide shows he did after this. Front seats right in front of him - I literally could not take my eyes off his fingers sweeping across the keys. Absolutely amazing. He’s an absolute genius.

Beyond words, Wakeman is a truly talented musician, a musical genius. l love with all my heart this version.

The first concert I ever went to was Rick Wakeman, it was at Crystal Palace (South London) way back when, I think it was called "journey to the center of the earth" all a bit hazy because of the red wine and "stuff" :-)

Have seen RIck at a couple of private dinners where he plays this on a mini organ.... impressive beyond words. Fabulous job Rick!
