Good Lord how can anybody deny the talent of Ricky Medolocke.........If nothing else his voice is above average and always has been......I got to meet the at a concert on the Mississippi Gulf coast when I was 19 years old......I don't really know if people understand he was Lynard Skynards first drummer. Not Bob Burns...........Nothing against Bob...But listen to Lynard Skynards first and last album that was put out after the cras. That was Ricky on drums!
This and "Guitar Slinger's Song And Dance" were the last two songs by Blackfoot to get radio airplay. "Guitar Slinger's..." would be another good one to post. HINT!!!
@meyer412 Posted it three times and RU-vid has blocked it all three times. Also, made me take down a few other vids............so it's hit or miss on whether a particular song gets to stay up or not. This one....apparently no problem...but yet another song from the same CD (i.e. GSS&D) doesn't survive the legal eagles for more than a day or two.
My medicine man does not have this tune on it. After reading these posts. I now know why. Ricky Medlocke is the true Blackfoot, I listen to the other version, the lead singer just aint there, voice and playing. it`s a damn shame, as Charlie H and the other members are in the wrong version of BF.
@nathanwulf : The only thing I can think is that you may have a bootleg version or some other "unauthorized version". The original release had both songs on it.
