Worst case scenario than when the governor I’d say both of them same as evil but negan had more people and the governor was more of a better fighter shooter than negan
Andrew Lincoln's acting in these episodes is fantastic. He goes from being so overly confident that his group can handle anything in front of them to a sniveling mess by the next episode...
Jeffrey Dean Morgan killed it as Negan. He's the one villain that legit scares you... You want to see him on screen but you're scared and worried whenever you do
In this episode we can see how Rick goes to a confident and fearless guy to a terrified and hopeless man, one of the best episodes in the show, the saviors whisle it's really terrifying
This was the last good season of the walking dead. After this the writers just dropped they ball. They character assassinated Eugene, Jesus, Negan. Killed off characters who weren’t supposed die. Introduced new characters we did not feel attached too just to use them as substitutes for core characters that they killed off then immediately killed them off. How is this the walking dead anymore? None of the main comic characters are in it anymore after season 9 it’s just Michonne, Eugene and Gabriel. They are dumbing down the villains too much to the point where they don’t have the same horrific aspect their comic counterparts had. Even the walker fights they get in that are even remotely dangerous… are all a result of their own incompetence at dealing with the situations. That’s not how it is in the comics in the comics they have squads dedicated to clearing out groups, herd management teams, the only walkers that were even remotely a threat after all our war were the walkers under the whisperers control they had a handle on everything else. The saviors were supposed to be part of their alliance after negan was ousted and played a vital role in the whisperers defeat but they killed all of them off. This show went from being one of the best shows on amc to complete dog shit all because the writers can’t respect the source material.
It was definitely a terrifying experience for the group but ironically it ended up being Negans worst moment due to the fact he didn't just kill them all.... this was his only chance and he blew it.
I would really love to see a prequel series with negan Laura and Franklin to watch how the saviors got formed all the way up until they met Rick at this point And see their reaction of how they were trying to deal with figuring out who killed their people at the Satellite. outpost. It would really give us a different perspective of Nobody is really good or bad as it's all about perspective of who you're following. That would make for a good 2 or 3 season series at least And end that series with Negan walking out of the camper toward the group. Especially ever since we met Franklin in "here's Negan" We don't know anything about him. Would love to see the back story of how those 3 started the saviors and how negan changed.
The last good episode before the show died. I kept watching until the series finale but the show never felt the same ever again unfortunately, it got good again during the whipsperes arc but it still felt so different than it did in season 6 and it never got that magic back. I hope the new rick series has that season 5/6 feel.
Show had plenty of good episodes sprinkled in bad seasons. Ricks final episode, Negans solo episode, the episode with Aaron and Gaberiel, the end of the savior war, michonne last episode
Rick brutally and mercilessly slaughtered these people like animals in their sleep and when his time for defeat and punishment occurs he has the audacity to try and negotiate….. Pretty pathetic given his pleasure and enthusiasm in destroying the Saviors.
All Daryl fault, leaving to go look for Dwight, forcing Glenn, Michonne & Rosita to follow him, then they split up and get captured. Punching Negan which caused him to kill Glenn
Yeah he carries that with him for pretty much the rest of the series. But even if he didn’t go out, the other group would still most likely get caught, and Abraham still most likely would’ve died
I'd like to say that Eugene can't be left alone for anything. Wasn't even 10 minutes and this boy messed up almost everything. And the death stare Rick gave him. 💀💀💀(no hate)
If only Shane was alive and they pulled up and only killed Glen. Perfect imo, Rick goes back to Shane and tells them about Negan ...ricks Broken and Daryl n Shane take over the conflicts. Because this moment was crucial for Rick and the rest of the Gang but I think Negan schooled Rick a little too much. But Shane Would of just killed him and started a war faster.
@WinstonSmith-1984no in season 7 episode 1 u see who really dies. Carl dies in season 9 I think. But I haven't gotten there yet. I just watch the episode
