This is SO NEAT to see a legend go back to the beginning. I have watched his entire Pro career come and go.

You KNOW those amateurs were pissed that a pro showed up and made them all race for 2nd.

This day was pure recreation and therapy for RC. Nice to see you riding again having fun young man👍

Ricky is an east coast boy we're all used to the rain and slop. Definley one of the best mud riders I've ever seen.

I have alot of respect for RC. But, racing amateur Nationals after double digit pro titles seems pretty selfish to me. Just saying.

Ricky I’m a lot my tome fan and a dad of two when I watched you speech of you into the hall of fame it really moved me and I know you are never going to respond to me as a fan but I want you to know that like you in a poor man but I made sure my kids got a bike to ride so he can grow up doing what I’ve never beeen able to do I was the kid that went to the supercross ever tear and was never able to afford getting me a bike lost my family young and kinda went down the Ronny road but I am a dad that lives and breaths supercross so I guess what I’m trying to say is thanks for all the memories you gave me and maid me never give up on what I believe is the best sport in the world god bless darrell munger your truly number one fan.

Rick already has that in him but i met him at gainsville just before he went to ride with mitch and i told Rick a friend of mine when he rides flicks a switch an goes in to shark mode....off the bike hes quiet mello on the bike.....sorry mitch that first year supercross title loss was my fault...i didnt think RC would really listen ..i even told Johnny Omara to keep a good eye on RC because omara was going to all the races..i saw johnny ironically at Daytona SX pit VIP entrance an told O show what i said...O mara actually used my seat on his borrowed KX at our race of champians he was surprised to see me an my old team didnt leave me a pit pass...john didnt say anything he just listen then at orlando i was with that rider an saw both RC an Omara we were gate side by side...peace guys thanks for the post...my rider didnt listen but RC did great job Rick an O show mitch.

YOu can tell he's got some extra weight on him these days. Still awesome though.

Whenever I past a cyclist on the road I always shout out "put a motor in it" or "buy a two stroke"....next time I'll look before I speak...

They didn't talk about it but a read somewhere that he talked with the event folks at each track and stated he didnt want to take money away from the other riders if he wins. And that 2nd place should get first money and so on. He understands what that little bit of money means to all the up and coming riders

Flying his own plane to an amateur race?

I bet it’s a bit nerve wracking for RC having not raced in a while knowing that he’s expected to win no matter what. I remember being at Log Road and Jeff Stanton was there for practice races basically and him and my sister were friends and they let me hang out in his pit and he was testing some different ideas to see what would work best for him, but each Moto he had a mechanical malfunction that stopped his race and I knew he felt disappointed about it because so many people were expecting him to come out and wipe the track with everyone. At a certain point I think the riders put so much on themselves feeling that they owe it to their fans to win all the time.

i cant take this seriously! that guy is racing loretta lynns.... hes not called the G.O.A.T for nothing... hes gone 24/0 on mx twice and won too many times at a pro level he dominated everyone at the top level!! so why is he racing in these classes?? he shouldnt be aloud its just crazy.... and its unfair hes not racing big guys like he was no offence but im sure the guys hes racing agenst here wouldnt be fighting for the top in the outdoor nationals or supercross, this shits crazy

He tried to do the Pro Sport class, but of course, he crashed a few times in that race. LOL

And " i promise Ricky cares about a random dude from england dont like that he rides lorettas in hes own country... stop give a damn so much. He is the goat and should be aloud to do whatever he do. If you get beat by rc anyone should be proud to even be on the start gate with him.

Great Video of RC enjoying racing. Crazy to see its been a few years he has raced. Great if they have vet races every track. I wouldn't mind racing, As long as its bicycles. Haha

Dude Rc is actually strugling in national amateur races. Retirement is retirement, u can't stop racing for years & hope to be on the top 5 against the pro's, specially on a 250 2 stroke

Millcreek MX is one of the best tracks in the southeast. Been there many times.

That's what defines motocross. The passion that goes into something that almost nobody will achieve... but I'm definitely all about getting paid more.

if RC was in my class i would be scared shitless.... you could be in 2nd, and still get lapped 50 times..... even with only a 7 lap race

Talk about the haves and have nots, in motocross you have maybe 5-6 guys that make enough money to retire on, and then Ricky with his own private plane, the rest are living out of a box van and scraping up gas money. No league minimum in motocross, they need to learn from the NFL and NBA when it comes to team profits and all that.

I totally agree.. Ricky needs to find something to do since he lacks the skills needed for Nascar.. Maybe he ought to stage a real come back and loose that pony keg he is sporting around his waist or start his own pro team like Reed, McGrath and Ward.

i hope he does soon, mx and sx is just not the same without him. by far one of the nicest people ive met.

If he gets back in shape I wouldn't be surprised to see him show up for a few sx or mx races.

I think Carmichael should come back to supercross & outdoors to give Villapoto a challenge .
