I think the big problem is how uncomfortable Akaash looks sitting next to someone else... his legs crossed, all the way against the arm of the couch like he doesn't wanna be touched... lmao
And how big are the other guys ego, why on earth do they need to be there? Nobody wanna see them more then a small input from time to time No offence but wtf Andrew was too kind, dident wanna seem selfish so he allowed it. But this is his show and we are here to see him. Put the other in a booth and give akash a own shair
@@stefanallard3084 Alex and Mark have become as much a part of the pod as Akaash and Andrew, I'm all for them being on camera, they add to the show a lot.
I never comment on RU-vid videos, but there comes a time when a man must make a stand for what is right. It's an injustice to hard working Americans everywhere when a man who has put in the blood, sweat, and TEARS, is not given reparations in the form of a personal chair on a podcast he helped build out and carry. Give Akaash his chair. "Evil triumphs when good men do nothing.” - Edmund Burke (probably)
A clip of Akaash going off about the state of the world introduced me to this podcast and I've listened to every episode since. Give this man a chair. A lot of people wouldn't have found this pod if not for him!
... that's only 1/2 the problem tho! How about it how dumb & awkward those 3 are looking sitting on it tho?! Just doesn't even feel right! Dont look right & feels like a bad vibe for everyone who's been a fan & supported! & it's coo to do whatever ya want, but I mean, if everyone's saying it..... me love you long time 😘
Been here since Akaash announced the Patreon idea and literally freed the pod to be as great as it is today. Andrew, remember when no one gave a fuck and Akaash showed up every week after a 2hr train ride? Your core audience remembers. This isn't about a chair but your audience's fear of yet another good team broken by negligence and quiet disrespect.
Literally bro!! I think it was just this month that Brendan Schaub was on the pod when he said Aakash was the secret sauce. Aakash is really good at what he does and if he is pushed out, I think its only gonna go down hill from there.
I’ve been creepily enjoying every single episode of this podcast for the past two years, rarely commenting.. just listening and laughing. But theres comes a time when enough is enough. Give my man Akaash his chair goddamn*t!!
Akaash lost his chair, Flagrant lost its 2 and now its just Andrews picture. this is what happens when a lead singer slowly starts to want his own solo career and pushes the band away. lmao
Was thinking the same. When Michael Jackson signed his name “Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5”…when they were always just the Jackson 5. They touched on this topic before, when the name was changed in order to generate more views and publicity for the pod, because andrews name was the more renowned and credit to him they openly spoke bout this on the pod explaining how it was an open discussion…but this is different….
@@Ollie-qz5qv that’s pretty much what he did. Next time you see the title card, look closely. It’s says ‘ANDREW SCHULTZ’s Flagrant w/ Akaash Singh’ This is the Andrew show at this point and he’s starting to get that A-Mic mania
Akaash needs his own chair or it’s not the same guys. Come on Andrew, give that man a golden thrown. He deserves it and earned it. And he’s your best friend and cohost. #chairforakaash
He took him off as co host as well and put his own face only on logo. The disrespect is real and taking Akaash for granted. Start your own Podcast Akaash son with another co host and you would kill it.
Lol "deserves" I think akaash is funny but am I the only one who likes everyone on screen at once? The constant camera flipping was annoying. And Al can't hide the fucked up jokes he laughs at now cuz he's always on screen lol
@@imemberberry yeah these guys are thinking way too deep into it, i think if akaash actually had a problem with the couch and losing his seat he would have actually spoken up to andrew lol
I mean, from a floor space perspective, you could have just got a smaller sofa for Alex and Mark, then had a nice individual chair for Akaash. It doesn't even have to be a big chair. He's the size of an 8th grader. Schulz really needs to play this one up. In a few weeks, they carry Akaash out onto the set sitting in his new chair like a King.
Been a fan for so long for this dude, always encouraged his comedy. But to put Akaash in that chair with those cheesy backups is insulting, end it all and get him his chair, or self-absorption will get ya.
Yes but boycott is all they will understand. We return once Akaash gets respect he DESERVES. But for me it's too late he thought he could get away with it. Akaash should start his own Podcast. It's time son !
Get Akaash an identical chair next to Andrew again and have Mark and Alex back together either on a love seat or behind a desk. IF IT AINT BROKE DONT FIX IT! 😭
At first, I didn't think much of it, but now I really do feel Akash DESERVES his own chair. The man is the counterweight to Andrew's persona, the ying to andrew's yang. 🤦🏽♂️
Andrew might have joked about it but it's clear, it's not even the chair it's the RU-vid logo and the Spotify logo and name. it's Andrew ft Akaash not Akaash and Andrew.
laughter honestly is the best medicine, i've been bed ridden the last 4 days from being sick and i cant even explain how much this podcast has helped me dealing with this shit. so thank you guys sm for the content
The disrespect this shows towards Akaash by treating him as part of a panel vs cohost of the show. This set looks like a public service television show - it aged by 30 years in a week
Andrew I love you and this podcast but you gotta give akash his chair back. Stop trying to hijack this to be all about you. Even the podcast branding is slowly changing to be all about you. You are so much better than this. This is Flagrant 2 with Andrew and Akash not the Andrew show. Give the man the respect he deserves.
"Chappelle's anti-trans jokes weren't as funny" - Neither was Daphne Dorman being harassed into committing suicide. I think it may have been a bit more personal to Dave.
Andrew behaving like brits when they came India, gave chairs to appease people and then take away everything. Aakash deserves a chair. #Aakash’s life matters
ya that completely broke the 4th wall, we were all typing about it and here he is acknowledging it right in the opening, that was a really powerful opener, which sounds dumb but in all actuality with how well that plays into last episode and the comments and everything, idk definitely gives that broken 4th wall feel.
@AnonymousNoname Knowing them they'd probably enjoy and make a joke about how usually they pay good money for this sort of thing :D I feel this is Akash territory, he would murder 30 mins of jokes about this!
I stand with Akaash! Move the other chairs back in and put the other guys on a separate couch. I love Mark and Alexx but they cannot be leads. I miss when they chimed in occasionally. A little TUH HU and keep it moving lmao
I love the new studio. I wasn't sure at first because I think I'd formed some kind of weird attachment to the old one but I'm going with that was nostalgia. I'm team chairs though. I have always loved how animated Akaash gets when he's laughing and he looks too constricted to lose it like he usually does. His uncontrolled laughing is both funny and infectious. Even though you guys are still rocking the funny , he could only sit forward and hold his face . For those reasons , I'm team chairs !
Andrew can build an empire off of his intelligence (he talks about history and foreign cultures like a fucking encyclopedia), and you mean to tell me he couldn't figure out how to make Akaash look and feel like the co-host of this show? Stop it. These guys have grown this channel by being smart, authentic dudes, and I think they think we're just going to brush over this and move on. But I really hope he pays attention to what we are saying. This isn't about a chair. It's about respect for the guy who helped build this platform (not to mention Patreon). I don't care how much money Andrew has spent... Akaash plays a HUGE part in the success of this show and deserves to be recognize as such.
@@superPINEAPPLEmonkey I really hope not, but it does feel like big changes are coming either with Flagrant or BI. I'm an OG fan of both so I really hope they figure out a way to keep the same energy with whatever changes they make, but making Akaash a lesser part of the show is a step in the wrong direction.
this is rich. moralizing over a co-host getting a chair while they sit in these chairs and justify transphobic jokes as 'objectively funny', as if any joke is ever objectively funny, as if comedy is a science and cannot be disputed in anyway. heads up, comedy is always subjective. and this podcast is for bigots.
Nah brody. Get Akash his own chair. Think about it like this. Imagine Charlemagne demoting you to go sit with Wax and Taylor on a couch. They good people, but you not about sit on that fucking couch. Don't take advantage of Akash's loyalty like that. Especially when it's not necessary.
Ah shut up most of y'all Are still living with ur mom's doing nothing sitting there eating food making a mess a complete waste of space only relevant to your family but outside of that you people especially have no room to talk about anyone and there life choices let's see anyone of you soy boys make a hit podcast out of nothing and on top of that add years of being a comedian which Andrew is and has spent a majority of the time honing his craft while you guys hone your yard sticks
Tbh long time listener who is tuning in for Andrew’s hot takes and Akaash’s reaction (or vice versa). As much as I appreciate Mark & Al’s input, I’m there for Schultz and Akashi
Chairs but I can see that the couch evokes a warmer, more homely feel and is probably more comfortable. Maybe just get Akaash his own couch, potential compromise?
Akash needs his own chair and the setup and lighting are off for the tone of the podcast. The old studio right away screamed flagrant and the scene matched the energy and tone of the show. This whole setup confuses the hell out of me. Flagrant comedic jokes in a dim lit, fancy boujee setup doesn't work just kinda clashes lol
Get Akaash his own chair, KEEP THE MICS the way they are rn to keep the SHOW aesthetic, Let Mark and Alex share the couch on opposite ends to give them space and when there’s a guest Alex dips and mark takes the left opposite end while the guest takes the right BOOM god bless 🙏
