But for me it felt like it was trying too hard to be edgy and got all the way back around to feeling safe and predictable. I thought the takeaway was to be flexible. He tried music, that didn't work so then he tried management. Also didn't work. Tried acting, almost failed immediately like his music career but adapted and also did the directing. Then, finally comedy and the two clicked. He wouldn't be where he is today if he wasn't flexible and willing to try new angles.
